If your broker has sunday candles it can upset the indi. I have mine set to unshift 0 and gmt +2 and it seems to fix the problem

Hi Sorry to ask, but I really like one of my indicators, it's has an option for an alert alarm, but it's not working. Can anyone point me to someone that can help me fix this, because I don't know anything about coding.

Just open your indie and set the alarm to true

Could you please tell me, as you're trading off M5, whether your stoch is at the recommended settings for M15, in other words do you have it set at 10,3,3 or something more suitable for M5?

The alarm is set, but still no sound alert, the sound alert has to be changed in the code. Can you help me, then I can PM you with the indie? Don't want to keep the thread up with my problem.

Update today

EU +10% and short from 1.4292
GU +15% and short from 1.6286
GJ -5%
UC +11% +5% and short from 0.9561

Return on account so far 36%

have inc shot of 15% and of my current short as you can see the current trade was up by around 7% but left open as its TP wasnt hit ...TP is yellow pivot.

Long was taken because of a series oh higher high HH and Higher lows HL
Short was taken due to lower high LH

If you close early you will soon be risking 5% to get 1% not a good way to trade

Red vertical line is my 8am UK start time

GJ going short any second due to lower high failed at pivot brown dot and now red HA
UC short waiting to hit next pivot down

Been reading your posts Paulus...nice work.. gonna use your 5 minute time frame strategy and see how I go since I haven't tried this on such a low time frame yet. Keep posting please

Am I correct that you just use the semafor for trend, pivot lines as support/resistance, and HA color change as trigger? Very simple! How do you decide to trade counter trend?

I dont trade counter trend I always try to identify as you have decsribed above the current 5min trend

ok that was tough but risk was built in and missed oput on 13% gain by just a couple pips

Fantastic trading paulus - i just do not seem to be able to get to grips with it + it slows my pc down to a crawl when i open the templates.

Into a buy and have my fingers crossed as my other two trades for today hit SL

im new to this so maybe this is obvious to others but i've noticed placing SL at the fibpivot/mid points is just asking to get hunted, usually give myself a little breathing room to survive the sweep

Hasnt effected me I must admit .. not sure it happens unless they see 500 contracts sitting there..but I honestly dont know

could be i just feel like im hunted when i get stopped out



+24% for the day... but that could change real quick, doing some serious damage control as i'm short USD/CHF (certainly a newbie mistake, not sure if i see all rules met in retrospect)

hoping for a bounce off R2
