Take care, all time high was at 1.4950 in 74 and not 1.0495. I indicated that in an old post.

A paire can not cross easily an all time high. If one day, we arrive at 1.4950, we will see a great violence retrace at that level.

SL 1.0585, TP - should take profit at 1.0517 Fibonacci but I am open to entertaining the idea that this is the highest the pair will go. A very bad habit to entertain however.

We'll see what happens.

Not possible,

Whatever in reality, Australia, China, Japan, Europe.......Commodity....
Anything negative to Aussie is not matter at all !

Trying to long some more at 1.05. We will see what happens. Exiting all longs at 1.04 if we get there.

yes, i agree. i work full time as a software engineer and cant watch the market every minute (like today, i will be gone now for at least 6 hours). i took 2 of my three lots off, and i move up the stop of the third one in case the bears run away. my goal is to do no more than 10 trades a week on the 4 hour timeframe and use smaller timeframes to select good entry points.

i think the aud/usd will have big moves over the next three months.

anyway...have a great trading day... i will be back later tonight.

You never know where is the high until the market proves. I just said I prefer to wait for confirmation or dobule/triple confirmations before I enter. But it is my style and sometimes the best looking trades are the loser ones. I did the same for a long time, I did not wait the good entry points and I had to escape from the trades. Sometimes the trade can run away from you if you don't act immediately but that is very rare, especially when you trade higher timeframes.

Now it looks bad.. Gold is 1486, OMG. NZDUSD is in the sky also and no sign...
