currently banked aprox 40 pips today,will have a couple of hours this u s open ,then retreat to the pub for late afternoon

well im finished for the week,managed to trade everyday with only a few interruptions from other chore.had an excellent week,banked 236 pips,which im really pleased with,my account is increasing fast,i guess as my lot sizes increases i may face new anxieties regarding losses,as as good as we get our method we will always have week or days when nothing goes to plan,i must maintain my style of dumping trades quickly if they dont act out as i anticipated,ive done that well this week,my losses have been minimal.
all my trades this week are called live as i trade them.i find trading live and calling them live on my journal ,not only puts me under presure to trade more focused but gives me a reference of where improvments can be made or mistakes were made,also my general emotional state.on bad weeks i think this will be invaluable

hi lolpie,heres a random chart ,i use these charts for reference and price levels i like to take a closer look,if you look at the spike ups,on both 15,30 mins,this is were i will look to trade .i also use the 1 hour,from this point i go to my other platform ,where i have just a 1 min chart and 14 pairs listed with there % value change from my platforms daily rollover,i like price to break up out of range,i then study the buy sell price whilst moving upwards,im looking for price jumps and then a stalling,by watching the value change on my other pairs i can determine if the money flow backs up this breakout,thats the part which tells me to sell or look to buy,if every other pairs also stalls and the pound starts to fall against a other pairs i can determine its a stop hunt or whatever terms they call these things,but my entry is or i should say at the peak of the candle,and if i am right i will ride the wick back into range,that dosnt mean it wont go long again,you need to judge whats happening with the overall money flow.my exits are based on the price jumps,which can be seen by watching the bid ask price,
hopes this helps in my trading method,but ill say one thing if my mind is not tripping with the money ill get stuffed

i forgot to add,these is 1 of the trade set ups i like to trade,but there are also many others

i cant re-size last weeks hourly chart,but pull one up and see the protection around the 16250 level,i think 9 breaches of around 15 to 20 pips,there are 2 entry points possible ther,the first is on the hour candle close if it didnt breach that 16250,the second entry my preferred entry is a breach of 16250 before hour candle close but not below the first breach candles low,but as close as u can enter to it,thats my 20 pips trading the wick left behind and leaves price above the 50 level on close,of 1 hour,thats if the money flow supports that move.for the sake of this journal ,im scalping but great for longer term trade entries because the money flow will dictate u hold the trade.

Hello all, obviously a beginner here. I would like to have a 10 sec or 30 sec timeframe chart in mt4 and be able to add EMA's to it. I can do this on the OANDA fxtrade platform but how would I obtain this on metatrader?

its somwhat piggy in the middle on cable,will trade the opposite fill

Sounds like you use a similar system to myself.I'm based in Manchester but use a slightly larger amount of capital.However,I limit my trades to mini lots using 5 minute pivots and daily technical analysis data.

are ok, ,i have a good friend in bolton,just next to you,
hows your system working out,?ive been working on my method for sometime now.its still a works in progress,but my results have been fairly consistent.i would say my best piece of Armour is the 14 pairs that i use to determine were the money is going. i guess i could use a currency strength indicator but that wouldn't show me ,what i see in the values of my pairs .

morning ,just opened up my screen,i see there was another long, trading the 1 hour wick up,around 16250 .
anyway watching prices but not sure whats going to happen .

perfect sync on the money ,everything negative ,strong yen,weak pound,euro,ausd,and a little more doller strength,all slowed down,
