No 123 yet but div setting up now. Return to trend. The only problem is all of the traders must be watching "American Twidol" or "UK's Got Balance" or whatever the world's hughest waste of time currently is.

Diamond...... would i be correct in saying that you trade forex more as a hobby rather than for a living.... as in you dont need your forex profits in order to live?

At this point I don't need the profits. I am slightly profitable and getting better thanks to this thread. Definitely I do not do this with merely a Hobby in mind. Not sure why this is a question.

well i probably jumped the gun and went long at 72, shootin for tp at 00 and set my stop a little bit under the 50% fib level...maybe i'll manage to break even for the day lol.

edit: saw things turning bad and got out with only a few pip loss.
time to pack it in and head to bed

just wondering if my perception was correct
i used to play alot of poker so have a bad habit of reading people. you are obvously alot more relaxed than alot of traders on FF hence my perception.

No I saw it and passed .. wasn't overly happy with the setup. Watching for 123 north if it sets up

gimme .. the rules are there to follow, not a guide line .. to protect your trade and your money .. Div has spent a long time perfecting them .. so its best to follow them. It either meets the rules or it doesn't .. close to the rule isn't enough .. there is no grey area

I played poker also, mostly at sea in the service. That's where a picked up the nickname, diamond. But everyone had a nickname, Ace, etc. It was all part of the sport.

Not so sure how relaxed I am. Still am unhappy when I'm stopped out. But in the meantime, I try to keep myself in a good mood. I probably blast way too much on these posts. But as long as I'm not too annoying, and I can get a smile on a face or 2, that's a good thing.

Don't play poker anymore. I'm definitely not a fan of hold'em. Draw poker and low-ball are fine with me, but cannot find those games anymore. Guess I'll just saddle up and ride into the sunset pardner.

yeh, thanks ...i bailed out of that before it got ugly. I wasnt basing the buy off of divs strat, it was based of the 50% fib retracement, I thought it had bottomed out and was turning north but guess not. Still really new to this can you tell, lol...lucky for me i'm making my mistakes on a micro account but dimes can add up in a hurry

I should have just stuck with what i said 7 hrs ago and shorted to 4380

Here's a 5m aussie. I would not really consider thinking trend change (for our purposes) until prices goes, and stays, below thick Red line.

The area right above the red line is maybe to busy to know which way to go.

Are you guys looking for shorts yet. Say a bounce off the 420 area for EU? I was looking for this downward movement yesterday when 4h and daily were showing divergence.

Hey, Guys, I love the smell of pips in the morning. E/U There is a breach and test of the (LL) 4380 level. Positive divergence and a 123 forming with news in 30+ minutes. (What say ye, men of Sherwood.) I couldn't resist

Did your entry meet the rules? My only candle that looked like an entry did not come within 2.4 pips of point #2. It was too far away, so I stayed away.

This system does not talk about using other timeframes or pinbars, doji etc. That is all personal preference but it is not associated with the standard analysis of this system. If that is something you are using, great, but many are not even looking beyond the 5 min charts as per the discussion from the creator of the thread, Divergence.

Hey RC,

on my chart it showed 2.2 within point 2... I think I actually followed all the rules on this one, but if not please let me know.

If it showed within 2.2, i believe that meets the rules. Mine was 2.6. Difference in brokers. Good on you for getting some pips. I would have taken it except for the 2.6 on my chart. Good work.
