DislikedOK just to put a post here which is on topic. I've been reading about JPM holding silver shorts on paper since at least last autumn (fall) which are allegedly worth more than the entire world's stock of silver metal. Now, if we all buy silver metal (not paper), JPM will go bust?
Others urging silver buying point out it is historically low in value compared with the value of gold.
What is happening in reality? Is this just nonsense perpetrated by people holding silver longs, or should I worry?Ignored

DislikedHi Smikester,
Here is my take on silver. I take what I read or hear as amusement and entertainment (as much fun and cheaper than going to the movies LOL). When it comes to trading, I empty my head of all that blah, blah, blah and make a point of trading what I see on the charts. As we can see, silver is currently in an up trend - that's really all I need to know - the rest is taken care of by my methodology.
Ooops, sorry for posting a real chart on this thread - hope that doesn't put too many people here into shock.Ignored
DislikedHey this thread looks like it might be fun, see a few people here i know. So get this: A dude i know hwo works in a mine here in Sweden talked to some metals people and he says Chinese is buying copper BIGTIME, more then they need for production. So it seems they think its going sky high or something.Ignored
DislikedWow that is amazing Carlos. Thanks for posting. Made me feel a bit sick when it started spinning, though. Oddly enough, I was doing a bit of decorating today.Ignored
Dislikedhave you check if the same up trend is in the 16M chart? and the 17M chart? or the 18M chart, or the 19M, and then the 20M because all TF's are diferent, if is up in all TF's up to monthly then it is an up trend...........
hope it help, my 2 1/2 cents........
but don't mind me I'm just a bikini judge.........quote]
O.K. Chonchy, looks like an uptrend to me ... at least at the moment.Ignored

Dislikedand one more, of course there are always pullbacks and trend changes but that's what stops and take profits and re entries are for. Somebody has to take the money home and spend it - might as well be meIgnored

DislikedI'm also reading about mines being re-opened for silver. It's interesting that people say there isn't enough physical silver to back up the paper silver that's flying about. Then you consider all the silver mines that were closed because silver values were low. They would only be reopened for people to stash the stuff under the floorboards because industrial demand is not that strong to push the price enough.
My concern would be that the Japanese disaster is going to hit world trade badly. I am thinking the markets are on hold at the moment.Ignored
