Yes some demand came in right where I got out... The entry was sound and I bagged 40 pips so I can't complain.
. Closed at 109.18 and now we touched a low of 105.59... Damn it. Had a great entry at 109.58 and had I held I would of had 18 pips DD only before heading back down almost 400... Ah well live and learn.Had I not gone into a meeting and stopped watching my charts I would have rentered short again off the various 5 min entries it gave on the way down. No real entries on the 15min other than a 2 bar reversal just after I closed out... other than that stright down she went on the 15.

nice entry but spooked out. I think oil sees 105 this week. Still in a sell off 112, cheating a little and following the trend system in tradeguider.... but hey whatever works lol

do you think it is safe to buy the oil at 105 and to ride it up to 120?

Interesting day. Missed 4 opportunities across EU and GU that met my rules but I was stopped out at B/E before the market moved in the direction I'd expected.
Not unhappy, my objective right now is to be right more often than wrong and to improve my chart reading, rather than becoming a billionaire by betting it all on black
I'm also comfortable with my B/E stop strategy - its stopping me losing money although today it also stopped me making some. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Irrational decisions are normally the consequences that lead to losing money. How I am coping with this problem personally is coding an EA that follows my trading plan. Simply put, I enter the max DD level, Max # of positions, and the best time to trade. If I can not follow the trade plan, the EA will intervene and close me out.
Actually I just wrote these details on my blog. I'll share the EA too. It's a really basic design but its the simplicity that makes it work so good. I'm a daytrader/scalper, so the external parameters were designed for myself including a specific Trading window(intra-day only). All trades will be closed by London close. I will thinking about adding, ___ If trades are at profit, secure BE and let them run longer, but than again, after London close, is often a retrace.

because of this, I've started to scalp and close 2/3 and let some run at BE. this way, I'll still earn some pips instead of getting wacked at BE all day long.
Its kinda ironic I think. the markets obviously know that we use the _ BE_ Free Trade Strategy
