Hey tgwhbb any way you can get prev week's HLC in your IB indi? Maybe even the week's IB?

Gets tiresome drawing in those HLCs.

For those that don't look at these pop in last week's high and take a look at today's PA

May I just point out that my professor for strategic mgt just went through 3 1/2 hours of lecture without so much as changing his facial expression once or even altering the pitch of his voice. I was literally bored to tears = crying real tears uncontrollably from sheer boredom

The only reason I stayed was because the value of the lecture was undeniable. It was the first time a lot of my peers heard of alternate forms of capitalism. The professor highlighted the differences in capitalism between Japan, Germany, and the US. He focused on everything from time horizon to make a profit, CEO compensation, to job security.

I am absolutely astonished that this is the first time we're being exposed to some of these interesting ideas. For example by law in Germany, large corporations' board of directors is split between reps for shareholders and reps for the employee's. In Japan the long term outlook and loyalty and co-operation between corporations is unheard of over here in the states.

i've been trying to work on the weekly IB for the indi, but work is keeping too busy lately...well, that's mainly because i trade during the day and catch up on work at night ...

I actually coded the IB into MP text, thanks to the MP text sessions indicator. It's a little crash-potent right now so I'm hesitant to distribute. But it does show IB for day, week, month or year - dependent upon what time frame you set the indi to..

Oh and, I can also code IB X 2 into it. I'm no pro like Bandung so sometimes I wind up with MT4 crashing, then every time I open it, it immediately shuts back down -- any ideas?

I feel like I'm *this close* lol

ok, got around to it...here is a new version - and new name - of the Initial Balances. This one includes daily IB, plus 1.5x, 2x, and 3x extensions with options to turn them off. It also includes weekly IB and DIBH/L.

For the weekly, in order to try and keep charts clean, the IB/DIB gets drawn on the left edge of your chart. I figured this way it leaves less clutter since its really only there as a reference...

Next step will be to add Steidlmayer formula for calculating extensions...

In mind over markets, it talk about the "peanut butter extravaganza" sales theory, last night is good example that can fit into it. since asia session price keep on auction down seeking for buyer beyond DBY value low at 1.4274 (but when i check TOS 30 min chart TPO VAL is at 1.4260, is different from bandung again)
p.s. Bandung - wednesday Value area is seems like cover 60% of the total body, possible to double check the formula of calculation again?)

so when price get back to 1.4274 it fill my pending order. and after a few test in US session, it finally heading for Weekly IBH target at 1.4387.

I have 2 position take profit at 1.4387 now move SL to 1.4352 right below the 30 min no supply bar. Will let the remaining 1 position run it course.

I think I am almost done for the week with 2 good trade.

It is 7.00 ET, I checked TOS the cut off time in their chart is 5.00 but I'm not sure they use GMT or ET.

The Weekly initial balance price action move like a mini session IB each day, using IB level as support and resistance...

Now I am trying to work out the Monthly and Yearly IB.

What a discovery!!!
