Weekly IB= first 2 days
Monthly IB= first week
Quarterly IB =first month
Yearly IB = first 3 months

OK let's work out the possible scenario this week.

IBH - 1.4268
IBL - 1.4150
4268-4150=118 pips

DIBH 1.4268+118=1.4386
DIBL 1.4150-118=1.4132

Currently still holding long since 1.4149 friday POC bounce, lock all profit at 1.4249, right below the test bar in 30 min chart.

If I got stopped out, will observe further development for entry again.

just woke up to see my long from yesterday at 4230 played out nicely. SL now set to 4290 just below the last 15 swing low. Will probably get stoppped out during NY open unless they run it up right away...

looking at 4267 (weekly IBH) for next long.

I am not sure if this indicator is based off of mp, but it looks interesting.
It looks to have a heat map , just wanted to pass it along maybe to get some ideas.

currently the NY IB is about 15 pips, very narrow for NY...there's still 22 minutes left, but nonetheless, the reason for posting this is for learning purposes. Let's assume the IB remains narrow as it is...an average NY IB is about 34 pips.

A narrow IB means price is balanced, or at a fair price, so the day traders (in market profile terms, aka floor traders) are finding buyers and sellers in essentially the same area - in this case a 15 pip range.

To move price out of this range will need initiative action from "other timframe" traders. Meaning that if longer term bulls are in play today, price should move out of the IB higher, or lower if bears are in control. Seems obvious, but given this is happening at the top, it does instill some confidence if price continues to move up IMO.

EDIT: the trick will be not geting caught in a fakeout move, or being willing to take the drawdown if you are...
