Price still moves inside the bullish channel,testing 0.9368 area. Support at 0.9190. Break below that area to bearish testing the lower line of the bullish channel and 0.9100 - 0.9130 support area

results: GPBJPY + 25 pips...

euro + 10 pips.

stop to talk.... time to put in practice.

Your system is great and I've been using it as my main indicator now ( with Long term & short trem TRIX to confirm.
Clear & well define trend & I'm confortable with the entry & exit.

I've been using 15 mins time frame with 5 mins entry.
Looking at Long term USD/CHF for bigger profit. Chart attached

Update from a scalper using the Ribbon. Yesterday, I did great in the London session and met my goal for the session quickly and without trouble. The Asia session was not so great. I screwed up and finally closed the session with a tiny profit, goal not met.

I stayed up so late jacking around with Asia last night that I missed London this morning. The good news for today is that I'm back on track. Just finished reaching my daily goal for Asia.

The ribbon is just what I was looking for. A simple system that makes pips like an ATM every day.

I like to look at new systems, especially when they are simple. I trade my own way, but, as I said, I like looking. Just a thought.....the Hull indi is one of my favourites, so I threw it on the template to act as a confirmation of a trade idea.

1. Enter long because ribbon is green, Hull is green, CCI positive

2. Exit long because ribbon just crossed, Hull is red, CCI negative

3. Enter long, same reasons as #1. (hindsight would have eliminated #2, but hindsight is 20/20.....and no one ever went broke from locking in profit )

4. Exit...

I confirm the direction on higher TF's, but for my style of trading, I prefer the 1min TF.

As I said in an earlier post, I'm used to trading on a filtered tick chart and have done many hours on it. 1min seems like a walk in the park at a leisurely pace in comparison.

This seems to work well for me, thus far. This may not be for everyone, but it fits my lifestyle and way of trading for now.

Crossing of the cloud can give up a tons of pips -- yes there are some small losses but the more winning pips

Yesterday I finished reading the two ebooks; many thanks for those. Very good reads.

I have setup the template yesterday for a day of demo trading. One question quickly surfaced: would we take every signal? I know some people say that taking every signal will drain the account and we should use discretion, others say in scalping you take every signal and lose a lot of small trades but be in the market for the big move that will make it up.

Which do you (or others) use?
