yep, seen that as well...don't fancy a short though, last 2 hourly candles very bullish...rather wait for another long as it could very well reverse on a dime

great day...dipped a bit further than i anticipated, but none the less, the NFP drop was exactly 80 pips as i eluded to in a previous post, like it was already planned

From a longerterm perspective, I stiil see lack of participation. I believe weve stopped one time framing. I would take that as the longer term participants stepping off board on higher prices atm. Maybe we will fill in that area

Similar..buying wave & selling waves have different time compression. But the principles are the same...What u see in the 5min chart is the most highly compress period. waves can occur in all timeframe but in its simplest form it resembles a H&S or inverted variant formation..

interesting. let me play devil's advocate. EU has only been above ~1.4300 for about 16 months since 1993 (that's as far back as my chart goes). That's only 7.5% of its time spent up there over the course of 18 years, so it would stand to reason the area is not really build up yet, no?

If you look at the doc refered to in this post, there seems to be a progression in value upwards.


EU is still one-timing on the weekly so we may very well see a down day on Monday given daily one-timing has stopped, but only if we break this week's low would longer term one-timing stop...

Gosh! I have completely forgot my long term analysis. I posted a quarterly chart awhile back. It was that article that lead me to make my first post here. I havent check it since. Heres the quarter as we sit now. I forgot this week end of Quarter. Well end of week , new month, ive got alot of homework this weekend, update charts, and plans. Thanks for bringing that to my attention, I get that tunnel vision when trading intraday.

Both "Mind over Markets" and "Markets in Profile" are my 2 favorite books on profile. All the the MP indicators I use are posted in the thread here. I am not sure as to thread rules if I can post books, but if its not against thread rules if you pm me an email address I can send them or provide an upload link. I just dont want to do something to get banned from the only thread I have ever participated in.

Hey guys, looks like it was a wild day!

Wasn't around to trade, what a hell of a move.

Check out these two charts, the first is a weekly EU TPO that has stopped one-time-framing up. The next is a weekly candlestick chart, where the low of this week is 6 pips above the low of last week. I feel like I'm missing something really simple here, like I have a setting wrong or something.

I'm using IBFX and the profile day starts at 0, does that impact the weekly TPO?
