I like to look at new systems, especially when they are simple. I trade my own way, but, as I said, I like looking. Just a thought.....the Hull indi is one of my favourites, so I threw it on the template to act as a confirmation of a trade idea.
1. Enter long because ribbon is green, Hull is green, CCI positive
2. Exit long because ribbon just crossed, Hull is red, CCI negative
3. Enter long, same reasons as #1. (hindsight would have eliminated #2, but hindsight is 20/20.....and no one ever went broke from locking in profit
)
4. Exit long because ribbon just crossed, Hull is red, CCI negative. Could enter a counter-trend short here if you like.
5. If you took the counter-trend short above, you would exit here because Hull is green, CCI crossed and ribbon is confused! Could have a go at a long here....same reasons as before.
6. Enter short because ribbon crossed and is red, Hull is red, CCI is negative.
There are some trades that I wouldn't have entered there, but even if you entered all of them, you'd still have a positive pip count.
Don't know if you guys and girls like the Hull indi for confirmation or not....but that's my 5c input.
