As a trade plan it has merit but I do worry about the gap being filled when the markets start for the week, if the gap is filled then a figure of 1.4080 could be achieved before a pullback commences. Interested in your thoughts on how you view gaps Divergence.

i use oanda mt4 so no gaps well another session done time to do something else

Please do not apologize for language. Without your mention of language, I would not be able to tell the difference.

Also, no failure in what you have drawn on your chart. You have noted lines of support and resistance, which can not be disputed. You may be onto something. Who knows for sure. Personally I've spent at least 6 months doing back testing of charts. Some of it was mostly a waste of time. Some of it was time well spent.

10.30am in Tokyo and euro gets to 1.4050, also euroyen at some resistance level also - what will happen?

Hi. My first post in this thread which I find very valuable although I've haven't managed to read it all yet. From what I've gathered it looks like you have done a very nice job. Thanks for it as it makes things easier for me. You may want to amend the London session times which appear the same as the US session in the Powerpoint doc.

And since I'm here I will add my thanks to Divergence for sharing what looks like a great strategy.

The times are same on purpose. Those are the same and those are the times Divergence trades those two sessions. He only trades those two times during the day. One during the Asian, times as listed. And the other is the London/US session, at the same time. Remember he trades roughly 0830 AM EST in the US which is 1230 GMT until about 1130 AM EST US which is 1530 GMT. So he does not trade an Asian session, a London Session, and the US Session at different times.

Hope that clears it up.

I'm starting to get very interested in the 1.4050 level on the euro - see if it holds and develops into a possible short. Anyone see anything that I can't - blinded by seeing what I want to see.

Personally, I am looking for a short as well. I am looking for a little higher, 1.4060-1.4080. That is where I had the gap and it has just filled. 1.4080 is the next area of resistance I have and am looking to see if it bounces off of that.

Time will tell.

keep an eye on eurjyp - much steeper angle of ascent so could make a bigger retracement. Move today of 60+ v 40.

I see. Apologies for my intervention then. As I said, I haven't read the whole thread yet. I knew Div trades only US and Asian because of his time, but I thought there would have been some update about London at some point in the thread, as I would believe the efficiency of the strategy is increased by the most active trading times which would happen around the opening of each session. I guess for people leaving in Europe as I am this is a gap we need to fill by trial on our own.
