EU 5 min. The market seems to be struggling to go up. I see a double top and a couple of bars back a ND. Time to think short? I see a possible attack on the support and a potential break through? lets see...

i think the market is churning right now.
an up bar volume after that SO is excessive.

just my idea, the market will come back into the same area of SO with lower volume.

after price penetrate the supply area, will wait for a test to go long.

Sorta like this.... [update]: took 30 pips off this one as it broke through the support. expecting a pull back and look for any further weakness to appear

Would love to hear your guys comments on this chart.

The question is their a valid short in here.

For me the background strength is to much with the daily printing a 2bar reversal aswell.

Dont you think that vol in that level where you have arrow in those 3 upbars is drying out.

Wel yeah it is drying up. But to me this looked like testing before the breakout.

Thinking back to it this is probly an example of a failed test?

Also trading is a probability game, so probly this was the one that didnt work.

Sometimes the market prints a bar that looks like a test bar being any of the low volume variations. And a bar that many vsa'ers wil interpret as as a test.

But the test fails and the low is broken, many vsa'ers of a high skill level who was unsure of market strength or weakness sees this failed test as a definite sign of weakness.

And if they are good enough they will join in on the short side.

Hi everyone ,

Some feed back would be very much appreciated,

what did I get wrong ? I'm new to this type of analysis
folowing trade explaination for the ES trade I took yesterday

1 : Bottom Reversal after gap down, vol<on the 2nd bar = strength
2: Shake out, Very high vol
3: the two previous bar a potential weak but this a test = strength
4: test after few weak bar, the trend is up now
5: upthrust after high vol up bar
6: test the weakness of 5 = strength
7: high vol wide spread up bar, potential weak , but following bar are up, we are near a previous resistance area, I don’t really know what to read from those bars
8: Up gap, high vol down bar ( not ultra high) but still bearish
9: retracement on light volume, both up bar are No demand, near a resistance with 8 in the background : I took a short , stop 1 tick above above 8

Check the power of bouncing up into today's opening price (and POC) and getting rejected (twice) to the pip, to then be met with the most recent (yellow) ND volume bar and heading down 50-60 pips after that.

We're in a supply zone now, but demand is not convincing to me - a possible bounce and failure up to the DPP @ 1.41495 could have us revisit 1.4084 (& associated support) and my solid blue 1.376-1.386 TL. Possible H1 wedge building and decision time seems to be looming, although Friday's are known to leave us inconclusive or deceptively positioned. Would love some news, good or bad from the eurocrat crowd; still nursing yesterday's short.
