And now.. for the WORST trade of the day.

I don't intraday trade the London/Asia overlap anymore on most days so I've been working on POs. Here's my 4H E/J chart, note the dotted red line and guess where my PO was

Here was my trade for the day, A/U 15M. Entry was off the 50EMA (bolded darker green line, the thinner light green is the 50SMA). In addition to the 50EMA I was looking at the session action (price started trending during Asia, stops during London but can't pull back all the way to the 50, then we get another pullback into the 50 near the US open) and the fib level that Ken posted. Close was when I snapped the screenshot -- I would normally hold this trade longer and let PA tell me when to close, but I go for a set minimum percentage per day. If I'm not seeing much in the way of HTF setups then I just hit that percent based on the 15M chart and close out for the day.

Awesome trade, looks like you had the 35/50 right there too. I really like it when the 50 lines up on top of price in a good area and we get a green candle charging it, a reverse on the next candle usually works out very well.

I am a long way from being as good at the 15M scalps as I want to be but I'm slowly getting there. I think it's very important to master those, because there are a plenty of slow ranging days when I can't find as many HTF-based scalps/trades as I would like, or I miss them due to not trading the London open. The 20-40 pippers off the 15M really help on those days.

That looks like pretty good eating!

Thats something iv got on my to do list, getting better at cooking and especially barbecue. A good barbecue meal is far and few between here in norway, I assume thats not the case in the motherland of BBQ though

Yes , We should know what is happening on the higher time frame charts , Then take trades off the 15 Min in accordance with those higher levels. But if you can SEE PA better on the fast 15 min chart , Get the entry , But make sure you check your higher charts , They will tell you where price may turn back and show you a new entry.

Also during times of consolidation late sessions the 15 min chart is about the only way to see any trades. But keep in mind the higher levels because when PA starts backup the levels can and do come into play in a hurry at times .

Wat at times may look like a stop run could be just a run to a major level where orders are stacked waiting to try and turn price. But as we know any reversal in Bias , starts on the fast charts but needs confirmed on the higher charts for a long term play. It is all there on our charts to see it will become easier to keep everything in your minds eye as you progress.

But until then a few notes written on a note pad can go a long way, if your platform lets you make notes you could put them on your chart.

Good stuff Ken. Don't forget about the 4 hour EU trendline. I marked it in red on your 4hour below. The third hit bounced to the pip and now it should act as resistance. Cheers.

Im also short on the u/chf from the 1h double top early this morning, id like to see it at least down another 40 pips to 9122 before looking to close out. Im however also long on it from 200ema on the 15min so im covered either way though. Counting on 9171 to keep it south bound.

Very nice double top entry there! I have the 9230's circled on my 4H (which is why I was confident taking it short from the 15m). We have a good bit of confluence right there, I have a 4H S/R line, TL, and 150ema.
