i think fundemental aspect is more reliable than a 'Chart', currently it is hardly to trade this pair.
Due to the low interest rate in US, such a high interest rate for AU obviously can boost it and hold it in this level. But how about after US increase the rate?
many things need to be concerned, japan's recovery will need AU's help, coz AU is the heaven of raw materials. Additionally, AU is still enjoying chinese growth.
Huge bubble here..

After a sharp drop to 0.9700 price immediately bounced up and now meets downward trendline.
Trying to open some short positions here and expecting for price to retrace down to support 0.9970.

Thank you, mate. I agree.

But the question "when" is too big to answer. We are now thinking of the bearishness in this pair but do not know when it comes.

goldman sachs put a 1.50 target on the eur/usd......but I see a fall out in the euro zone if this happens, with some country's leaving...so I dont know if this would be good for the euro or bad. Although, I DO I have a feeling the euro has already priced this in...so maybe this will be good if greece and ireland leave. This might send the euro higher to 1.50. In response to the trendline, I notice that sometimes the bulls like to break these lines and go higher, same with aud/usd. Tough call....you dont wanna fight the trend. Oil is the key I think for the aud/usd..which would mean all eyes on Yemen as of now. Japan will put a crimp in the aud/usd so that will take a way a little bull pressure. BUT the real concern is China, kinda off the radar now....with middle east, and nobody is thinking of a rate hike, but I think one is coming. So I am slightly bearish. I rate hike cut a cool 200 pips off the aud/usd. Also the yuan RRR takes effect on the 25 this march, something like 250 billion yuan.
Don't be fooled by randomness

A/U isn't going to fall just like that again (short-term), like it did last week, unless there's another disaster coming. I'm neutral to bullish for this/next week (yes I was bearish before the big drop, which I did not expect to be that strong, neither the bounce back to be that strong, as if nothing happened!). No trades for me, I don't want to go long after the strong run, I'll probably wait for a nice level to short again (1.02?)

Hi Pham...i have already posted a daily chart.
Don't trade off the minute charts, unless i'm pipping.

Accumulating at the moment, after getting out recently...so am hoping it gives a nice op for topping up, before the drips begin

I enjoy the collection at circa 9700/9800...but overall like the 9200 area.
Sanks
