Hi Strat.
Thanks for the reply. I know that emotions have no place in trading and I'm the worst culprit for being an emotional stone (as the wife always tells me). I guess I was trying to highlight the moral compass within and if that one did make a small fortune trading yen pairs then a donation would be nice to redress the balance.

It must be all this fluffy stuff that we are doing on the MBA having a caring effect on me ;-)

Incidentally, I've not been trading forex of late as I have been concentrating on crude, silver and the Dow. So, I didn't profit directly from the xxxyen pairs but I did with crude; and I have made a donation too ;-)

Hi Spinner

For me donantions are part of the bigger picture in my life, each has their own view on it, I donate a percantage of profits of my combined trading accounts at each year end, I am sure there are many others that do this too, some donate of their time and knowledge, sharing with others.
It should not take an incident like Japan to make one give freely and aid others less fortunate than themselves.

The Boss seems like giving us a little hint. This double bottoms look different the previous ones. Last candle will be a controller for now.

Depends on your PLAN and your trading style - ATR(5) or 100 pips or reverse PASR

Nice weekly BEEB Strat - but I'm not so sure I would short into the 20/50 MAs rising at a nice 45 degree angle. Is this a stress free trade? I think I would rather wait for a lower high and PA again rather than trying to go long USD? I guess this could be a quick counter trend ATM trade for some, but I find the stop distance too much to stomach too. I would rather sit and wait for the pattern of higher highs and higher lows to be broken. I also think the GBP trade last week was driven by the budget and people will soon forget that and look again at rising inflation and expectations of a rate hike. Personally, with Ben running the printing presses until June I think there is further downside left in the USD yet, unless traders are getting ahead of that news....I note major Investment banks are bullish USD oddly!
