EUR/GBP - What a great pair to trade!

Given that I'm bearish on the weekly a break of this trend line might be where I would start shorting.

Well that went well, although had to wait a while for the break. Now we're on our way to .8600? Any analyses?

EURGBP seems strong, it's in third phase of the uptrend. Exhaustion could be comming.

Someone is having fun with this pair. The same thing happened yesterday. Went from the day's low to the day's ATR...

Gerry Davies seems to have some rumours:
"Earlier, Well same entity has been seen buying EUR/USD in decent amounts this morning as well. Market concludes that said bank has a lumpy interest in the EUR/GBP cross, which is indeed seeing strong gains. Those gain acclerating in wake of weaker than expected retail sales data. Cross presently shooting higher at .8725."

EUR/GBP is currently in a traditional triangle(Daily chart) and testing the 0.8650 level. If it breaks above, then its goodbye triangle and welcome (0.8850). Otherwise, its back in the triangle to test the lower level.

'they' want a trip to 0.90 area... probably within 2 weeks

Sirpreme Chaos! I wouldn't be surprised. That's a very quick return to the upper trend line and we just broke through again. I wonder if it will hold this time. I missed most of today's move because I was making poached eggs for my better half. I hope she enjoyed them. But I was lucky enough to join the ride down on the reciprocal pair, GBP/CHF. I hope that's bound for 1.44 again.

Roncho above correctly identified the .8850 level to the pip. Thank you fteller for posting market profile charts. I'm glad you said it indicated shorts were in order because I don't pretend to understand market profile charts.

This is my view of what's happening, also bearish:





A simple break and retest of the trend of the last 2 months. Important levels marked in grey. I'm still waiting for price action around here (.8770) as I write but I will be scaling in and looking for 1st target levels (any ideas?) if we get a strong break.

Is there anybody that would be so kind to share some ideas/expectations on how far up this break should propel this pair.

looking from a S&R point of view there are four peaks counting the highest back in 12/08... the pair is approaching the first just below .90 I think it my novice analysis (lol) say it breaks through. But I an not sure where I should target long term. I dont want to be gready but I dont want to leave a lot in the table if there is valid reason to expect continuation. I mean it was a multi year trendline break... how far is this pair going?
