Good call Ray. I've monitored the eu for London close activity for several months. Generally at this time of the day, both the eu & gu will try to make a few more pips in the same direction it's been traveling all day (morning/night) before some kind of reversal.

For now I choose to avoid trading this late because price gets pretty doggy. But pips are available everywhere.

Div, I know you don't experience very many losers, but I'm wondering how often price goes against you and puts the heat on? From what I see most proper setups signal and go without much drawback at all. Just wondering what you've seen happen...

After reading (some of) this thread,i cant think of a better way of trading,nice clean set-ups without all the squiggly lines.Thank you Div,changed the way I will trade forever.

Divergence,

Right on...........as the indicators are not needed. I am finding the trend, looking for the Flag then enter. It is that simple, but getting the trend direction correct is the main key. If you are not correct on trend direction the odd are against you. Adding this & that indicator is only going to fog up your trading decisions.

Time Frames.......Flags are on all time frames, but you have got to determine what time frame best suites you. For me the 5M & 15M work the best. Again, get the trend direction correct no mater what time frame & trade it.

Hi Div,in your 1st picture on page 1 you have put 2 long set-ups (last 2 trades) in a downtrend,we have a lower high then a lower low but then 2 long set-ups?Am I missing something.Thanks in advance.

div will take counter-trend trades if they meet his rules, right now i am just focusing on trading with the trend, but reading thru the thread you can learn when he takes counter trades(1-2-3 and divergence)

ok guys here what i am going to do since finding the trend is difficult for some i will do 1 more webinar this time there will be no recordings. Just a heads up in case anyone trades JPY . STAY AWAY , BOJ is doing
crazy things , wild swings etc , really not safe to trade . Stick with EU
Very sad whats happening in Japan .

This is setting up nicely but given the volatility in the market it could just be a text book case.

I may be wrong here but I read this Aussie chart as a case where there have been numerous flag short opportunities and then there is a case of divergence. It looks like it is setting up for another pullback but given that it has already given 4-5 opportunities and there is divergence it is better to sit it out and see what happens.

Shouldn't your #1 be the point at the bottom of the divergence? The lowest candle? Then your #2 would your #1. Then #3 would be your #2. I think Divergence numbers them that way. Look back at some of his charts. Then the entry point would be the point after #3 where you get a trigger bar.
