If you created a pdf for Flag Trading The Trend it would probably be the shortest trading pdf ever created containing all of maybe one paragraph.

Short trading pdf, but a sweet, simple way to trade......indicatorless if so desired.

some pairs are better than others because you find more trends with more volitile pairs

Divergence, you are right. Would you tell us which pairs follow more trends than others? But those volitile pairs have big spreads and you have to add several pips to any market orders. Is it one of the reasons you stay with EUR/USD most time?

absolutely dumbfounded how when a s/r line is drawn on a chart, price respects it--hey maybe i can use that to create an edge. thanks div. for helping us see the light--

from my understanding, you have to wait for the swing to be taken out first, to confirm the uptrend, then you wait for a pullback and a trigger. seems you went long before the uptrend was confirmed

tb johnson is righht wait till it takes it out and then pullback

u mean need wait for candle closed above the line?

i have read the thread up to page 25 but i am still confuse with the entry point, is it at the opening of the trigger bar or at the close. pls the question will help my trading.sorry if the question has been answered before.

dort, once you have the trigger bar and it has closed, if going long, you enter 1 pip above the high of the trigger bar, if short--1pip below the low of the trigger bar, if price doesnt get to that pt on the next candle, then you wait for the next pullback and trigger bar to form, unless the bar after the trigger meets the criteria (distance from sma, cci) for being another trigger(2nd chance trigger--but can only do this once/pullback)
