Strange things happening - when I click on my name I see an option to send a PM. Anyway forget it and concentrate on trading as I have sent admin a message - thanks for the help.
I spotted this 2 hours ago on the EJ, although I did not trade it. The yellow lines are official Tom Demark Trend Lines. Using only 2 most recent swings as trend line guides.
• The 1st candle beyond the candle which Breached the TL, going short, also broke -50. Entry at close of this candle (spinning top)
• Next, price breached 2nd TD TL & then retested before continuing down.
I believe this would have qualified as a pull-back entry. Any comments?
I've been trading this method too for years and it worked wonderfully for me. I am really glad tha a wonderful people like Mr Divergence here is willing to take up the stage and share this with us.
Here's my 2 cents input for this wonderfull strategy.
It's not the indicator that move the price, it's the other way around.
The price moved by people. People like us who happen to have ridiculously long zero digits in their bank accounts. The Big Guys. The Big Guys who put in and pull out their money in and out...

Very valuable comment. and I agree with you regarding the increased liquidity around markets open. This happens on news events as well but are much less predictive and are erratic in behavior.
Is that the Coral you use in your trading or a moving avg?
This thread is great stuff and blessed by some good traders.
any particular reason for this trade to be a loser, or just variance?

imho,
1. I don't trade anything (yet) with gbp.
2. Positive divergence.
3. Pull back has too small of a pull back, especially compared to the following pull, which would have been a successful trade.
ok after 250 thats it i know there wasnt 250 looking at this thread so no more inquires about the web recording thanks

Hey Div.
I have been following this thread right from the start I just didn’t think I knew enough to contribute, so I have been silent just observing, I didn’t even bother to log in.
Through your teaching, and other members contributions I have finally found a system that has taught me basic market movement and has made me more consistent. I wish I had contributed more so you could have seen I have been here.
In any case like I said above, this has been the best system I have ever worked with in the sense of true understanding and I would be greatly appreciated and of great value to me if, I could continue to learn.
I can not PM you due to my junior membership status, but an invite to your link would be amazing. If not I will continue to follow this tread, hoping you will maintain it and I will try to contribute more.

I am glad to see you have found Divergence thread before you became addicted to the usual need for 10 indicators on your chart of which most if not all will not help you become a better trader. For the most part I too only follow along with this thread as I see nothing that I can add that would make trading this way any better. This is a very simple form of price action trading that works once you have the trend direction.
Along with my method I am using Flag trading & it is producing some nice pips, but there will be some losers as no method is 100% perfect in trading. Divergence has mostly likely saved you from the pitfalls of trying to trade with numerous indicators only to find most never workout.
div, thanks for all the knowledge that ur passing on. have thoroughly enjoyed reading thru the thread and watching the webinar. can definitely see the power in trading with the trend as opposed to blindly taking meaningless signals all over the chart. looking forward to practicing and becoming more affluent in spotting the high probability trades. thanks again
