the answer is its fine except it is a 8 pippete candle so i didnt take it the color of the candle doesnt matter

Can I please ask a question to clarify something on whether a candle is a trigger candle or not. Attached is a chart. It shows a candle that breaks flag TL, closes below 10 but doesn't get an RF below -50. So its not a trigger candle. Next candle below MA and TL and has an RF below -50. Can this be considered a trigger candle (its not ideal as its bullish) and an entry taken when its low is broken by 1 pip on the next candle. Or do we need to wait for a whole new setup now ie a bearish candle with RF below -50?

It's my understanding we should wait for 123 pattern and I don't see one on your chart.

Ok. A bigger candle would give more substance to the RF reading below -50. That's good to know. I'll assume a 2+ pip candle would be sufficent in that situation. Great, thanks for the fine tuning Mr Div.

the way i look at it is this if the candle to the left is the trigger bar and then this candle for second shot then that works but to have this candle as trigger bar doesnt work

hey guys against my better judgement i see there have been 12 or so that have followed along with me this last month i am thinking of doing a webinar of sorts to show you and explain this so there will be no repeat question so when we are done you should be profitable what do you think about this i have 12 names in mine

Ok... in that situation the little pippette candle is not trigger candle or the candle before.

If little 8 pippette candle had been say 4 pips, bearish, high within 2 pips of 10 and RF below -50 then it would be a trigger candle and we would be looking for an entry 1pip pip below the candle low? It doesn't matter that is the second candle below the 10MA? Is that correct Mr Div?

Here in NZ it's 1345 hours, Friday 11 March. So I say good afternoon to all. A novice member that joined only a day or so back. I am enthralled with the concept of Flag trading the trend and wholeheartedly endorse it. I've printed a heck of a lot of the Divergence's charts and are reading them avidly slowly absorbing the wealth of information herein. I understand the HH & HL's and the LL & LH's. Through Occams help, I'm also operating the Retracement finder indicator.

I've seen the divergence system and the 123 system highlighted on Divs charts, but I don't understand as to why/how they are instigated. For instance, is there as 'long divergence', or a 'short divergence'? Conversely, is there a 'long 123', and a 'short 123'? Is there a definition for a forex divergence and forex 123, which will help me understand because I don't really know when/how they're happening?

Help please?
