I had mine at 1.5940 area below the monthly pivot for cover but wasn't sure if I had been a little cautious there and risked more than I'd need to. Logic being that 1.60 handle would be too juicy for the market not to try and probe on a break lower.

Thoughts?
I do not use stops, lets just say that they care for themselves.

it would have been much more safer few pips lower than .5940, but again you should know better.

No, not motivation, but I enjoy small group and see people making small U turns everyday in their trading. Hearing people and seeing them do well finally after years or struggles is a wonderful feeling. Private forum tends to group serious people together. Traders who have seen a lot, but couldn't find that final puzzle... On the other side, public forums attracts younger, more impatient crowd. There is nothing wrong with this; we all have gone through this.. but now understand how long it and what it takes to make it. You also see clowns, naysayers, doubters... Dunno what you see my friend to say that this week will be the week but I have been watching for the skid for some months now. My fib projections show 107.85 is in the future (not too distant future?) for euro and likely lower. Here is a chart to refer back to in the months ahead. This should be exciting for traders but I feel that there is likely going to be worldwide misery based on what the charts are saying.

Presently I am watching 1.3873 right now for a cycle target and it could go a bit higher still.

now is looking even better after closing out other floating positions

is 9:15 AM and I was able to take just a nap , my alarms was going on all the night

Regarding trading with the trend I agree with you however I am of the belief that we need to see a material blow off in the markets to allow for the US gov to continue with QE3 and more in the future.

In order to do this the market and risk will have to come off quite savagely to allow the Gov justification to the increasingly less interested budgetary committee.

I am looking at the fact that Gold has been meandering around the 1400 area for some time and there are some real signs that things are getting over heated in PMs such as Jim Cramer and CNBC saying Silver is a buy here and brokers like Alpari UK are now offering Gold denominated accounts because "the USD is doomed".

QE2 runs out in June and for QE3 to get approved they will need a real reason.

I may be wrong but I am starting to see exhaustion at the moment which is making me cautious taking heavy long positions. Didn't stop me being long the GBPUSD and EURUSD earlier today for a small target profit but just not comfortable long with trend at these highs given the lack of meaningful pullbacks.

Sure the charts normally tell you the news beforehand anyway but I think at this point the drops stand to be a lot larger and faster than the rises in the near term.

Interested in your thoughts.

I'm a Dow theory practician, and as you say's price discount all the information one would need.
But I'm paing attention to some fundamental news such as interest rates and other major banks policy, in a way that may saound too simplistic. But this informations will serve me as the catalyst that will confirm my projections.

Now coming back to your post, I tought that we are still in the phase of QE2 (600$ billions capital infusion) but I remeber that I read somewhere that they are suspending for the moment the program for whatever reasons. Now look back where was the value of dollar at the start of QE2 and wait till Jun to see where we would standing.

As I told you I may be to simplistic in my approach, but even without this information my projections are favorizing a weaker dollar in the medium-long term. Charles Dow was a briliant man and as far as I can see Dow was in sync with J. Livermore philosophy.

Market always move in cycles the world cannot progress in a straight line and there seems to be a cycle of panics and of time of prosperity.

Gold it will go further up in the long term, the line of least resistance is still to the upside, but these period of readjustment (correction) are needed, nothing goes straight up or straight down.

Oh, nothing special, just speculating on risk events associated with nonfarm, middle east theater and self-destruction mechanism triggered by Euro bureaucrats.

I was thinking long at 1.0120 for audusd and long at 1.6180 for gbpusd. On the latter one it looks however that a box is forming what could put pressure on a break. What would be your thoughts on that rac?

I think that $ will only get stronger in the near future. I'm already in swing trades across the board..

Hiya, have'nt posted for a while, didn't have the right credentials

shorted GU ,one stop out earlier, these are working out...now..
I'm thinking 61500 tp area, maybe by tomoz? Actually i think this may be too optimistic..

Same thoughts if I may chime in. Bought Swissey on friday @ 0.9226 with a limit order. Already covered my stop and leaving the rest to run until my targets get hit, hopefully. Been waiting long time for the dollar bulls...) Respect from Eastern Europe and keep pippin' .)

100%. Took me a few years to realize this even though I had my edge on my palm. 14hrs a day reading charts and trading actively has helped me to survive. Although without great desire and patience in life I'd be gone...Finally the hard work is starting to pay off. 4 long hard years have passed and it's only the beginning, as I tell myself. Without complete dedication I would have left this game. I sacrificed a lot, but all for the better life and to become a better man. All I can say it was really worth it
