Haha, I'm all too familiar with hay burners. I'm not missing the summers of my youth (read slave labor) hauling tons and tons of alfalfa for 20 some head of angus. Enjoy it for me Rufus, hehe 
No, but really, building fence and fixing the cow's scratching posts, err, sprinkler piping built character. I think. Anyway, I actually enjoy it in moderation these days.
Reminds me, I'll bring a few steaks over to Seattle the next time I'm in town. Grass fed, lean, black angus. Good stuff!

I just returned from having a massive Mexican meal with my wife and now am feeling too bloated to sit at my desk......May need to wait for the beginning of next week...
I took a small short on the EU at about the Asian open then closed it for a handful of pips. When things are moving that slow I don't like holding onto a position that is not locked into profit.
Now I will head out to feed the hay burners and then read "Blink". Lets see if I make it till London.

Ending the week -1%. Two trades, EU shorts this morning.
Doing the 70 hour work week, hoping for a less intensive schedule next week. Haven't caught a single London session in three weeks.

thought i worked long hrs !! .... im doing ok mate , still trying to pick off the nbrainer trades for a bit of pocket money when i can .. but mainly enjoying watching my kid grow . take it easy ...

Ending the week at -2%.
A rough and frustrating week but encouraging all the same. Took quite a few setups, more than usual but I felt good.
As of late, my motivation has waned, between staying healthy and demanding work hours. I made an effort to push myself to trade this week and although it was my second worst (week) since I began trading this larger account (Aug '10), I feel my calls and views of the pairs I traded, based upon a 1:2 risk reward, was reasonably accurate.
Frustrations:
A rough and frustrating week but encouraging all the same. Took quite a few setups, more than usual but I felt good.
As of late, my motivation has waned, between staying healthy and demanding work hours. Frustrations:
- Two very close stopouts (1 and 5 pips) made a seemingly green week a very red week. Oanda is down for maintenance at the time of this post but I'll put together a screenshot recap of my trades this week this weekend.
- I was eying trades that I did not take. I feel the setup was valid and I took equally valid setups throughout the week. I link this with motivation...of wanting to trade. It wasn't there. A disappointment. I'll also identify these via charts later this weekend.
- While my money management is sound and my 1:2 risk reward is spot on, I got a little sloppy this week with calculating TP/SL placement (or lack there of) and allowed for additional losses on my trades. I double checked and I wasn’t being slipped, just left my SL a little larger than they should have been for the size I was trading (.5% risk per trade)
That's all. I'll keep grinding away next week and will continue to push myself Sunday afternoon through Friday morning. I'm certainly trying not to use the excuse "If I could only trade full time, I'd be golden" but after weeks like this, it’s never far from thought.
That being said, I fly to Middle East in a couple of weeks for job interviews and a little time off in a region I've become fascinated with but never explored. For the first three weeks of April, I'll have quite a bit of time to trade London sessions on more "normal" hours without 12 hour work days interfering.
I look forward to this opportunity to consistently trade and certainly hope it will shed some light in this tunnel.
