Hello every one.Ive been reading thred for a 6month.Last week i've started to trade in live acc and i cant get my cave manager 4.1 working i use MT4 platform .Could someone give me a hand with it?When i turn it on the cavemanager smyle is like this-> .Id like to have a traling stop on 20 and no loss after 2pips thats all. Thx in advance. wish me luck

Hi,

I have troubles finding the THV3 InfoBox that MissPips has in the left upper corner.

I don't like the THV4 version, the numbers are sort of messed up (and don't know the reason for that either).

The Normal Pivots D indicator has also a nice info box, but I can't really turn off the pivot points.

Well, if anyone knows this or a similar indicator I would appreciate that. Thanks for your time.

Update: Seems it's a spread and range indicator from thv3, but I can't move it from indicator box to the main window.

try edit the indicator and set "which_window" to "0" which is the main window, also you may chose which corner by set "which_corner" accordingly, try it, wont hurt!

Hi, newbies is here, sorry for my english (which is not my native language).

Arun, can u give a little more explain on how u analyse 15m,1h, 4h while you are using 5m (i guess) for entry?

I myself use 15m & 1h drawing trendline, then looking at 5m to get THV valid entry. But in this way the 15m trendline and 1h trendline make me confusing (when PA broke the trendline).
Am i doing the right way?

recently i found that, looking at 15m to get all enrty condition met except the coral, then switch to 5m wait for valid THV setup to enter, could do a better performance. Is this the actual THV entry method?

Re the trix, I'm not the author of that indie but you might try removing it and adding it back to the chart and see if that helps.

Hello Friend...

When I am trading , I first look the coral and ichimoko in 15m , 1h & 4h. for

long entry, if all previous condition met then I look 15m trix for good entry. I

wont trade 5m. I wont use pivots ... instead of that i use "#Kg Support and

Resistance".

I wont cut the profit ...I just let it run ...

Hello, i just would like to know, based on your experience, how many signals could give the THV strategy in a week. i mean to use it on the london/new york sessions.

average 4-6 only London session

No its for 15m Tf. I wont use 5m time frame and for EURUSD in London session...

I'm trying to develop a trading plan and would like to make as short as possible. I would not like to read 3 pages of info before I'm sure all my conditions are met. I know everyone should have their own trading plan that suits their trading, but still I would like to ask for improvements from the experts.. Especially if something crucial is missing.

• Trading on 5M charts
• Use THV V4, template MTF
• Do not trade 30M before or after high impact news
• Trade 08:00 GMT to 17:00 GMT
• Stop loss 11 pips (or cavemanager)
• Take profit 20 pips (or cavemanager)
• Calculate lots 2 % of capital (use spreadsheet)
• Currency pairs: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, EUR/JPY, AUD/USD
• Draw support/resistance lines on higher time frames (1D) in the morning
• Draw Fibonacci lines last low, last high, 1D
• After placed order, monitor candlesticks (PA) on clean chart 1M, consider close on indecision candles or candles in opposite of trade

BUY
1. PA over coral after candle close
2. PA over cloud after candle close
3. TRIX cross, green/green
4. Trend on 1M/5M/15M is up

SELL
1. PA below coral after candle close
2. PA below cloud after candle close
3. TRIX cross, red/red
4. Trend on 1M/5M/15M is down

Why all are fixing take profits .... ?

Instead of take profit why cant we use trailing stop ?

What about rule - "Let profit run" ?

If any hard reason let me know.... I ll change myself.

Agree with you, I heard a 5M TF trading philosophy is to take some profit by flatting half the position in somewhere (the distance need to be fine tune) and let another half position run with trailing stop.

Seems like reasonable changes!

1M chart monitoring maybe will get you out way too early. At times I'll not be able to sit by the charts and will be relying on the cavemanager. Will try this on a demo account to fully understand have this works.
