hey.. was reading the first page of this thread and i saw a link in Jacko's signature and realize his blog is not found. have he moved to another website?

Premierpip, I can see you are a very savvy trader. You have read the first post and now you are posting on the last page.
To save you reading every thing in between, I will bring you up to speed.
Jacko has proved to be one of the most successful traders of all time, to the point where he no longer post's to this thread, but has indeed, as you suspected, set up his own website.
The web site is very very exclusive. You have to have a minimum of $USD 250, 000, and it is by invitation only.

Do you think it was planned from the beginning or just something that went bad and he ran off to avoid the embarrassment?
If newbietrader101 is Jacko, or a Jacko shill, then evidently the scam was premeditated as early as Jan 2007. That represents an awful lot of planning, hard work and patience, over a period of more than 3 years, before finally launching his 'sting'. However, I guess it could be argued that anything involving a seven figure sum would be worth that kind of wait.
If newbietrader101's post is genuine, then Jacko was apparently a successful trader, who traded large sums of money, but somehow went off the rails during 2010. Perhaps he got complacent and over-leveraged himself. I know of another similar case.

Here are the registration and 'last activity' dates of some of Jacko's most vocal supporters (shills?) on the infamous Forex mentors thread (http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=187432), started back in Aug 2009 by fxtrader29. None of these folk have posted after July 2010, which if I understand correctly, is about the same time that Jacko disappeared. Given the similarity of material and language in many of their posts, one might be tempted to conclude that perhaps some of these folk were aliases for Jacko, and hence that he was not averse to creating additional usernames, and possibly as early as mid 2008.

I would be pretty comfortable waiting while making a six figure income TAX FREE. He probably would've kept this thing going for a lot longer, the only reason he bailed, is because he started losing money and people got worried
and were asking to remove their money from the fund. He had this whole thing planned from day one. I think the biggest red flag for anyone who sent money to the fund should've been that for the western union wiring instruction, the recipient's name wasn't Wayne Jackson, but it was L.A. Knowles. If you're planning on sending $100,000 across the globe to invest and you never seen, met or talked to the guy and your only means of communication is email, then at least confirm his real name, before sending your life's savings.

Umm, I think everyone is forgetting that he was charging a fee of $500 or $700 to join depending when you joined......
Although I never subscribed to Jacko, I believed he was a genuine trader, simply based on the apparent soundness of the method he outlined in the first few posts of the P&P thread (trade with the trend; enter on retracements to obvious S/R levels; use a SL to manage risk; if stopped out, re-enter when the trend resumes its move; etc). I still believe in these premises, and use some myself.
@billbss: I've lived in New Zealand all my life. It looks like I use "firstly" and "secondly" (example below), but I can't find any posts of mine with "whilst", and I tend to use "immediately" rather than "straight away". FWIW.
