No problems here,have you checked your log files in Indicators and Experts in the system files ? these can jam your platform if you are running to many indicators.Delete them all but the last one.Also check your options tab and look at charts - reduce the number to 1000 in each box.Indicators only nees 700 to 800 to function

As a point of reference Build 299 in MT 4 had some bugs,you need to update to Build 388.

I was just about to post how i didn't think there would be much movement today, due to to NFP tomorrow...then bam, EU explodes up!

Now at the September POC at around 3930, which is also yesterday's DIBH from NY session. let's see what happens here. EU still looking quite strong, but obviously now's not the time to enter in long...and besides my plan for today and tomorrow is to watch on the sidelines due to NFP.

I would like to see a backtest of this week's VAH @ 3870 to get back in long.

Here is a highly speculative long at 1.3880. I'm using a pending order because I won't be around to watch for any VSA entries.

The first chart is a weekly volume profile , my entry would be around the week's VAH. The next chart is a daily profile, my order is around yesterday's value area high and today's value area low, as well as some resistance.

The third chart shows a recently broken 4h supply level marked in blue that corresponds with this level as well.

Just wanted to post this chart with my thoughts so we can learn.

GU rebalance back to wkly DPOC but there was a test of previous prelim supply (a bit of wyckoff here, FYI). The reaction there @ 6310 was with very high volume. Weakness have sets in now as it seems.

So potential retest of 6310 (level X) that could trigger a drop

Kang Gun,

I notice the Indicator that you have on your chart showing + & - devation
is this the same as Imbalance low and high and i assume that the green line is VWAP ?

HIFX,

The green line is showing London Close price and +/- % taken from London close price. Example, +1% means: ((1% x London Close Price) + London close price). Big Bank/Company commonly use how far price is moving in % from the price that they use as a base. And London Close price commonly use as a base price.

Hi frank,

I was originally targeting 3870 as a buy limit, but i've reconsidered and am targeting 3895 now. It's only 15 pips above your target (which i think is quite valide based on AMT), but 3880 means the hidden gap created by the push up yesterday would get filled, which i don't think should happen because that would allow weak shorts down there to get covered, not an economical move by SM IMO.

Just came back after setting my sell limit@6310 but miss it by 5 pips. Should have set it to round-off to 6300 as i usually do since 6310 is close to it....I may try to enter if there is a opportunity if a successful ND test can be seen on key levels of 6250 (quarter level) using 15 or 30mins.

i know i said yesterday i wasn't trading till next week, but I have a bit of free time today so couldn't resist.

I had a buy limit at 3940 (in addition to the 3895 i had mentioned in my previous post). Reason for the 3940 pending order was that is the secondary POC from yesterday's up move, plus it was the DIBL for asia and london today. on my broker the bid came down to 39403, so taking the spread into account the fill missed by 2.2 pips...

Added confidence came from the fairly low vol UT for the NFP bar. That looked more like a probe of 1.40 but not much supply was found there.

i took a long at 3980 on the bounce off today's VAH, which is also yesterday's high and DIBH for NY. 1st target is 4060 - NY DIBH.

SL to 3981 (BE+1), TP 4060. almost got stopped out there (price down to 39816 on my feed). won't be in front of charts for the rest of the day. Have a good weekend everyone!

EDIT: stopped out...wasn't meant to be for today. still grew acct by 4% this week, can't complain.

Just got home from work and checking out the scene.

I really like the pace of the 12 hour chart. The profile is set to monthly here and it paints a very simple picture. We bust out of resistance, test it, and move off. Check out the glorious 2 bar reversal followed by a NS that desribes 3/1-3/3

How did you get H4 to show H12? When I use the polomine indi my H4 shows H8?

can someone post monthly and weekly profiles for NOK (Nokia) please.

This past week looks like a NS test of last july's low/reversal with the lowest volume in last 7 weeks, plus decreasing volume in the last 4 weeks.
