...DL long setting up, waiting for retrace price action to signal an entry, ideally around inner fibs but a bullish reversal may well print sooner.

edit: 5min 123 long setting up, on break of 3770...i'll wait for the 75 level to break before entering.

edit: ...another breakeven trade....just isn't to be today. No worries, there's always tomorrow.
edit:....ha, 123 long broke above R1, so i'm back in long again, not ideal time of day, but it's gonna break sometime.
edit: out for b/e again...that's it for today.

well i guess im not gonna have to post "just keeping the thread alive" this month....oh wait , i guess i just did huh?..oh well thats the first time i havent had to do it in like 2 years , i think!!! good work guys your on the right track...everything your looking for is in these pages!! and ..it does my heart good to see this thread still going ....keep it up guys..regards, trade_X

yes sidefx, one of those days today, getting out at b.e or a small loss wasnt bad trading at all....

1st trade using this method. I primarily trade using my own system and have been pretty busy this wk so it's taken me a bit of time. I'm having trouble posting the picture from this demo account (not sure why, I've done it a million times before). It's the same trade as sidefx took. Entry at 3789 with tp1 and 2 at 138% and SL at 3746. I'm still in it and will see what happens. The reason my tp1 and 2 are the same is b/c we are near the highs for the year, and over the last 3+ months, and I don't think we are going to push through it this go around.

Nice trade Raymond, been hard going today on EU, mainly because there is so much resistance around the previous feb highs, im in the trade to, had multiple opportunities to get out with a nice profit, but got to greedy today, might well go to tp1, but same time im aware we might be at a reversal point...

do stick with it though, this is an easy system with a bit of discipline and perserverance

Hey guys, forgot to show you this. I used this with some SQ9 trades. The pitchforks can give a roadmap to where price is going. I find it useful sometimes....

EU finally got tp1... a real battle of wills, but if my analysis was right then i had 4/5 chance of getting tp1 so i stuck with it... not saying its the way to always play it, but a profit is a profit...

Well, with my 1st trade using this system and my tp was hit, a good start. As I stated earlier I took profit at the 1st tp only. We are near the recent highs and I wanted to point to some other very longer term fibs we are coming upon.

Please disregard the moving avg...part of my main trading plan

dont blame you , it was a painfull ride... still there is never anything wrong with getting out with a small win... there will always be trades that go much quicker and more cleanly to where you want

...EU hit both yesterday's T1 and it's wkly T1. Will it retrace for another setup long today?....who knows.

edit: 11:12 - going to plan so far for the long entry...watching on the 5min for a decent setup now...back ltr.
edit: 15:00 - solid retrace to inner levels but no pa for the long yet...

...the short setup triggered...i'm cautious around entries, so i waited for the pivots to breakdown and entered just below the psych50 level.

EU was a set up today, breaking yesterdays high, but i would not have traded it from its current position, serious strong supply zone above, and all those long wicks at the tops.... also was completion of last weeks weekly fib

always always look at the big picture, the first thing you should always do every day is assess the market condition.... vital!

if the signals are risky, go trade a pair thats not.... simple but often overlooked..

the only reason fibs work is because of the market condition, so ignore it and lose...
