My first post at this great thread. Have been a lurker for a few weeks now and have tried to take in as much of the great material as I could but it is a different story when I try to apply it to the charts with often being a case of 'analysis paralysis'.

Figured, the best way to come to grips would be to throw myself out into the field

So my question is this (chart enclosed) -
Am I drawing the PPZ in the right way and am i Looking at a potential short should the daily bar today close low enough to be considered a near pin bar?

I know there's 20 min left till bar close but how would you rank the location of the last 4H bar on EUR/USD (broco feed).

That's fantastic AD ..

You gave it a good chance. You had your S/L above a great, proven PPZ level. Price could have easily started consolidating between the 1.54 and 1.52. That's what markets like to do. And you got out before that possible consolidation could occurr.

The strong move down and strong close below the 1.52 was a good indication that Price was moving down further, but the 1.5200 didn't hold that strong.

Next time when your presented with the same scenario . .I would do the same thing . and this next time . .it will hold .. . ..

I can see this one didn't end up closing as a pinbar but still we can learn from these. After a large move like we saw on the euro sometimes you get these pinbars that fake people out. Profit taking, weak selling, closing up for day(late in day) cause what looks like a potential reversal but ends up not sustaining at all as there is nothing behind it. We can see this better since now it couldnt even close as a pin

Daily PB on GBP/NZD had much better signal than goats LOL.
