Here's a 15m dollar chart, high volume down bars closing off the lows into yesterday's value area could be buying.

Didn't know if I should post this here or the VSA thread, I try really hard to separate my posts into the two but it can be tricky at times.

Nice charts frank, wonder how u get those TPO on your TOS charts? Somehow i cant get the TPO in TOS to display it like you did here. pls advise.

Make a double shot, man. Rally like AMT analysis but don't have much time to participate right now, I normally look at VSA thread, having a different perspective, especially from AMT, is just great.

funny somehow my Wkly is showing GU is facing resistance on VAH (as it suggest), maybe is my configuration or something else ??

i'm using v1.2, there is a lot of revision on v1.2, especially on tpo and va calculation...

Thank you for indicator...I want to ask you if you can put optional ( false /true) for arrows with circle ( I do not use candles) and those arrows has no place in my trading so it is very disturbing for me...

What is difference and /or meaning for "Profile time frame" (D) and "Daily Profile data Tf" (30)?

Mima if you are refering to those arrows, there is a parameters for you to toggle it under "showopenclosearrows". This are just indication of where the open price is in relation to the VAH or VAL as it is essential for those who use the 80% rule..

As for the candles; actually the indi dont draw candles, somehow even if you set the candle color to none in MT4 properties page, any contrast shading you have in you indi do somehow project the candle body "outline" on the chart.

So just set your it to bar chart instead of candle chart on your mt4 & set the color of your choice.

The "Profile time frame" is the period in which every profile is calculated either per day, week or month

The "Daily Profile data Tf" are the data that is use to calculate from, using data from let say a 30min chart as oppose to 15 min. The lower the timeframe you use the greater the CPU power is required to calculate it thus it may slow down your mt4. So e.g if you wana display the Weekly Profile, the default is set to use 60mins data in this case, in which only the 60 mins bars data is use to churn out the TPO.

OK Kave ...Thank you very much for explanation...last time bandung said that arrows with circle appear only if I have bar chart and just arrows if I use candle chart...that is why I said that I don't use candle chart...

Thanks for the indicator but I can only get daily profiles to work. When I change the "Profile Timeframe" to weekly or monthly only the daily ones show. I'm just using default values and FXpro mt4. Any ideas what the problem might be?

I had no issue with FXPro.


try this :

if you want to see Weekly Profile:
open H1 chart, insert the indicator and set ProfileTimeframe = W

if you want to see Monthly Profile:
open H4 chart, insert the indicator and set ProfileTimeframe = M

also check your daily, weekly and monthly history

@mima, when we talk about that, the indicator still had no option to turn on/off the arrow. but since v.1.1, the indicator had that option...

Again thanks for the great work on MP indicator. Is it possible to have option to turn on and off the histogram and value area. So we can see only POC line.
the reason I am asking - we can attached three indicator in one chart for D, W, and M, so that we can see the major support and resistance.

I do find the v1.2 a tad different from v1.1. Seomhow i still prefer v1.1. Can't pin point exactly why yet...
