Easy to be kind of a smart ass on the end of a move ..or maybe it is still not ..But guys, look at this chart..It was easy to spot on

OK, why did i choosed that bar from the day before is coos that bar is Ultra High Ultra Wide one!

We have that down bar that looks more appropriate by me but TG gave me a message that UP bar is UHigh and UWide one..so i marked that one

Not trying to be a smart ass. I really wanted to add VSA to my toolbox and Malcolm puts himself forward as the FF guru on all things VSA.

VSA is obviously no more reliable than any other BS indi - maybe less so.

A lot of ppl listen to Malcolm and probly trade his recommendations. I think they should be aware that VSA is only an indi whatever Malc may say.

Ok. We're all warned. Now since when I "follow" Malcom and Co. I started trading with success. So would you mind making your way and let this place to those interested into learning vsa?

I for one using AMT and VSA is one very happy chap...

Judging by your thread a couple years ago... you may still well be confused...But don't worry... Your making plenty of new friends that will be willing to help you

Where is this buying Intel, I only see distribution this week so far. The 5m chart clearly shows the 3 highest volume bars of the session were sellers taking the price through what was strong support and we didn't even come back and re-test. (yet). That's a clear sign that bears are in control for now imo.

forexlive were saying on Friday that the Chinese were protecting 1.35 which would explain the amount of bounces from 1.3508. BUT, that was before Mubarak stepped down. I would hazard a guess that they were then looking to lighten their long positions.

Just a guess of course, but I would not put a single penny on longs during NY.

Your judging vsa from one instance? Is your criteria for a profitable method one that is straight forward and shows not a single losing trade?

You actually come across as quite bitter and someone that has lost faith in their forex ability. Maybe time for you to stick to the day job?

Anyone who claims they can foresee every directional move in the markets is talking rubbish. Malcolm doen't claim this. Your scepticism about VSA is well founded. You should never just 'accept' any method of trading. However, openly running it down before you take time to learn it shows a little ignorance on your behalf. If you were truthful earlier when you said you wanted to add vsa to your toolbox, please stick around and take the time to learn. If you do, you will be surprised at how effective it is.

I think Stew may have lost money taking Malc's word for it.
It's all about believing in yourself rather than taking another poster's word as gospel.

I'll be honest, I can't see any longs on the table and haven't been able to since last Wed or Thursday, but i've been wrong many times before when Malc and DrG have got it spot on.

We should at least expect a retest of the breakout level, but that's not certain given the strength of this move.

Look here

2h chart EURUSD

A lot of them do not use TG

Look that bar wich i marked with red lines..

Do not pay attention so much on those all kind of volume indicators..one is wide nerrow range bar tough

Look how that up bar was full of sells ..We could not close down in the other case..No?

So you could mark its top as i did it here ... And watch for a trades

If we moved above that red line and come back for a test or stoping volume on it i would go long if we did as it happen today ...i would go short ...

Switch on lower TFs later..30 min 15 min 10 min and 5 min...and watch for reaction in that area!

After we would need to be carefull in a 1.35220 are coos of that down bar ..next to that up bar on 2h..That showes us some support...but till there you would be alredy 25 pips in a plus and BE could do its work till the end...SL was also not more than that as you can see for your self

VSA is easy when you have a lot of h in front of charts .. Need to be able to predict next move and recognize reaction in the exact time..something as a CHESS

For example you need to know that price goes up after SV and than comes back again in the same area for a test(not alwayes but often)...Not just to jump in after stoping volume...Those and some more tricks you learn just by watching and following treads as this one is

But maybe this is all wrong coos i am still noob..lol

Nope - Don't take anyones word for anything - Thats why I come across a bit negative sometimes.

But I really did think that VSA may have had something going for it after reading some of the stuff on here - guess I was just wrong - and I don't like being wrong lol.

Anyway you'll be pleased to know I'm outta here - leave you guys to your VSA and hedging.

Look now at a 30 min what was the reaction on that region..(we spot it on 2h chart)

Volume picked up in that 4/8 MML line

Check also smaller TFs..

I have 15 min, 10 min, 5 min, 3 min and 2min also

How can you say that you were wrong after one incident?

If you have 30 losing vsa trades out of 100, then VSA would be a money machine. But have you actually checked how it fares over a long timeframe?

On 6E chart on 15 min tf i marked now that area as an important to me.

So now...an up move and no demand or uptrust in NY sesson would get me in short

But i would be more happy with an up move above that region and than an test of it or stopping volume on it...from above off course and that would get me in long


If i skip all of those setups will wait for a new one tomorrow..dont care and will not force any trade
