MBT doesn't accept live accounts from your part of Canada, but can't you still get a demo account going? At least for analysis if not trading?


To research various platforms, this link may help but the data is not always accurate on some details, and not always up-to-date, but it has been useful to me.

I tried "FXDD MTXtreme" which is 5 Daily-per-week, however, it's only 119 hours-per-week. They drop the last Friday bar of 16:00 NY which I don't like. They're a GMT+2 broker (which makes it 5-bars-per-week).

I'm sure there are plenty of brokers that are 120 H1-bars/week, but the majority have different GMT offsets (other than GMT+2) which for them will display 6-D1-bars/week.


Using Oanda's feed on this EU chart -- which is necessary because the 3rd pivot low of 1.28583 was at 14:57 ET, before most other brokers open -- the Andrews ML seems to have been in play this morning. Interestingly, at the previous very peak high, the Weekly chart is necessary to see a near-touch (2.6 pips shy) of the Andrews UML, whereas the lower TF's were shy by 10-20 pips. The H4 also shows some resonance yesterday with the Mod. Schiff 1st Warning line (circled in pink).

I posted my own thoughts (on the Oanda forum, same thread you used) on how I would like Oanda to handle the extra weekend data. My preferences (for Oanda) are actually 6 D1-bars/week, 32 H4 bars/week, and 124 H1-bars/week. The thing is, though, that until one has a feed to study, it's hard to know what is the "best".

I encourage you to follow that lead to look for reversals at the 88.6% fib level. May also be more predominant on specific time-frames. Have also been observing the 127.2% for reversals.

Many people simply link everything they write on a forum or a blog to social network as FB or Twitter. They're is nothing wrong with it. You follow or you don't.

BTW some nice setup you post. But personnaly i stick to majors. I don't beleive to price action on most exotics. EUR/USD keep me buzy enough and is very technical.
