You can use 1440 but if your going to try for smaller pips change it to between 60-240 i dont trade the M5 so you have to find what works for you

5m with 1440 its good grate because you can still see higher tm s&r, when i enter in a trade y let the price touch the next s or r with only risking less than 15 pips, so i think 5m with 1440 its good!

If you're trading the D1, you can use 10080.

I also cant figure this out..

i thought the setting 1440 (=24 x 60) would give the daily pivot/fib levels, setting 10080 (=24x60x7) would give the weekly pivot/fib levels, so monthly pivot/fib level is.... errrrrr...

I thought it was gonna be 10080 x 4 for monthly trades since that was the setting for weekly

i had the same thing in mind neil421.

If setting of 10080 is used on a d1 chart, i thought it would show the weekly pivot/fib levels.. hmmm..

Constant Value Description
PERIOD_M1 1 1 minute.
PERIOD_M5 5 5 minutes.
PERIOD_M15 15 15 minutes.
PERIOD_M30 30 30 minutes.
PERIOD_H1 60 1 hour.
PERIOD_H4 240 4 hour.
PERIOD_D1 1440 Daily.
PERIOD_W1 10080 Weekly.
PERIOD_MN1 43200 Monthly.

Yes... but... if you use the monthly pivot/fib levels, you may not have as many opportunities as if you stay with the weekly pivot/fib levels.
