Nice setup Sam...1st time back to a very clear broek former support would have been enough for me to take that trade...but add a TL and fib confluence too and it's a no brainer trade.

Keeping an eye on this CHF/JPY short, circa 87.6

Looking at the charts now, price has moved quite a bit higher and the last 1hr close was heavily bullish. Nonetheless, I'll watch price for indication of sellers in this area.

As I'm overall bearish USD/CHF (thus bullish CHF), I'm weary of this setup...but I do like the clear break of TL and return to an area of previous support.

No trade taken, price wanted to keep moving up. London closed now and I'll probably be still until LO tonight.

Looks like my trading week is over, ending the week at +1%

Overall, a great week in terms of calls, however, I did close a CHF/JPY long at B/E about 12 hours before it ran to my TP (and continued further to make new highs). PA at the time looked quite indecisive but price had yet to come below support (although flirting with a subjective TL)...so, I'm unsure what to think of this.

If price had gone to my SL after I closed the trade, I'd be patting myself on the back for having a good sense of weak PA and protecting my capital. However, now, with price moving to TP after closing early, I'm left with a little regret. I'll ponder this over the weekend and see what I can come up with. My policy is usually one of going down with the ship...if I put on a trade, I'll usually stick with it until SL or TP, exception being obvious S&R, unexpected (or overlooked) news, etc. There was no obvious bearish PA in this example, so...hmmm.

Shout out to JLR, my PST LO trading buddy...just couldn't cut it this week in terms of making the 11PM alarm and being up to trade the first couple hours of LO. Sorry man! It's funny, I don't even remember my alarm going off this week...at all. Work and the holiday's have certainly taken their toll and I look forward to being well rested and back in the seat come 2011.

I will be looking for trades next week but will be extremely cautious.

Merry Christmas to everyone, big shoutout to JLR, LJ, Rufus, TheFool, SeattleRust and others who have been my inspiration, means of support & friends this last year.

Wrapped up the first week of the year at +1%.

Two trades, one B/E (nicked for a couple points!) and one TP hit.

I'll try and get some charts up later this weekend.

Wrapping the week up slightly in the green but B/E for all intensive purposes. Trade management was fine.

I'm carrying a daily EU short over the weekend, trade size is smaller to accommodate the larger SL & TP. I would never carry a typical day trade over the weekend, in fear of a Sunday gap. However, with this EU daily trade, I have a good 100pts of wiggle room and feel reasonably confident leaving it on.

EU weekend short closed for a small gain. Set a second limit sell but price broke before I could get hit for that.

Slept through a couple of great EU bounces last night. This week will be a short one for myself and I look forward to being back in the seat full time for the UK open next week. I'll be taking what I can from NY and Asia the remainder of this week.

It was indeed a short week but not one short of opportunity. Unfortunately, I missed a couple of picture perfect trades and took a couple that didn't work out as planned, in addition to a B/E stop that was run over for 5pts before price ran to my TP and then some.

However, with my risk vs reward in place and one opportunity that did work out, my overall loss was minimal and I ended essentially breakeven for the week.

I once again am holding a daily chart swing short over the weekend with EUR/JPY. I'll be on the road tonight through the rest of the weekend but will be sure to check on it.

With heavy US news later this morning, this level will probably be negated...however, this is a setup I would usually look for.

Ending the week slightly green but B/E for all intensive purposes.

My EJ short carried over from last weekend was stopped out shortly after the market opened on Sunday afternoon. A mid week NZD/JPY short that ran a little past RR 1:1. Stops moved to BE and hit a few hours later. A/U short about an hour ago with TL, PA and stops set above 1hr highs, closed for a little better than 1:1.

The day job has been intense for the first month of the year and I've not traded a single London session. Trying to pick up trades here and there during Asia and NY has been spotty at best.

Will try harder. In the mean time, no serious damage has been done to the account...risk control is what I want to keep in check, the rest will eventually filter down.

Can see what you were trying to do there Sam, that level wasn't on my charts...this is my GJ chart...can you see the current range of GJ and what higher TF PPZ's are keeping it in the range...waiting for 132 to short or 130 to long are where the best probability setups will be IMO

Another week ended at B/E.

3 trades, two losses, one win. Plenty of opportunities Tuesday and Wednesday this week but I was either asleep, working or on the road.

Watching the EU & UCHF S&R here for breaks...would really like to see UCHF break through, retest and then continue down.
