I'm sorry malc, hope you're not mad at me.. I hope we can compare trading strategies together. By the way, got off short at 3585 & 3595 with mind stop above 3630 (which is the doji fractal). I apologies if I somehow disrupt your discussion here.

It is ok .... alot of traders here are trying to grasp vsa and other topics confuse them

I bet you $10 your stop gets hits in asia....try and get it to break even as soon as you can , here is why .. we tested buying zone , nice little shake out under to 1,3510 , now above the trigger 1,3550 , bet we see 1.3850 before we see 1.3480

Do you really mean that? (I mean the bet.. ). If that's so, I'll let my positions open until it get stop then... ahaks.

Maybe you're right malc, for the time being I guess that is the story from the chart, however, my positions are being covered by the aussie and the kiwi and a few other pairs..

Now, regarding your assumption, I have nothing to argue, since currently there's no distribution phase at the 4h atm, however, the daily and the weekly candle for fiber hold me back for going long atm.. if my position is taken out, I'll wait for another entry point then.

On my 10 min chart according to vsa short triggered also @3585 just now but not going to take it because of the strength on background. But if to consider risk/reward 1:1 then you are hoping to get too much of it. Maybe 7-8 pips max, if ...

Another thing that I would like to ask you malc is, can you actually count the trading volume at this hour of the day? To me, it seems like there are no real trading activity going on at this hour, so what I mean is; I think the price is only drifting with no concrete direction yet. How do you consider this, malc?

I agree - I think it's important for newbies that the discussion remains on VSA only otherwise it becomes like all the other topics - non specific.

IMHO discussion about whether the price will go hit this value or drop to that value belongs in the relevant generic thread (e.g. EURUSD) and this one should stick to predictions/discussions including VSA explanations of how you came to that conclusion - exactly as Malc and Dr G kindly do every time.

I'm watching from the sidelines personally to try and get back into the swing of the market, in particular EURUSD. I note that Tom Williams on Sunday is very bullish for EURUSD, as are Malc and Dr G. I have a simple system - if my VSA reading of the charts is the same as Tom, Malc and Dr G then I'm happy

Go take a peak at fridays 1 hour candles , note the ultra high volume wide spread ones into 1.3550 .. this is where the buyers are sitting

No look at todays charts . I noted buying in london on a 15 min this morning , then we had a really nive squat bar on a shake out under 1.3550 , also with uh volume ....

VSA is not one bar it is background always...

lol sure .... the malc is not often wrong though

If I argue something strongly pay attention .... if i give up easily i am unsure lol

VSA can be like reading a book , right now charts are very clear

Agreed. 1hr TF today is even clearer imo. It isn't a small amount either when you compare the volumes to NFP last Friday.

I am preparing to go to bed when I see your post.

Let me explain. First of all, let's see from the largest TF which is monthly. Note the channel direction, is that an uptrend formation? I personally don't think so, we don't even have a higher high yet but fiber does form lower lows. Note that the price is currently at the monthly trendline and right below the cloud area which also means that it already reached it's monthly resistance, see how the clouds formation is, normally a straight line of the cloud area indicates an area of buyers/sellers and usually consistant with fibo retracement.

Now let's zoom in to weekly. See that there is already have a shooting star on the weekly. Though the price is already above the cloud area, it still does not shows that the price has made a clean breakout to the upside yet. And note the force index has come to zero which usually means that the price is already at equilibrium and from this point, the assumption I made to go short is based mainly on basic TA. The confirmation of my hypothesis is a closed below the low of the shooting star.

Now let's see the daily pattern. See how the bearish candle is formed. It's longer than the bullish candle before the doji and also note that there hasn't been acceleration and momentum to the upside yet which means that the price or the movement has not matured yet. I would love to see a range first before thinking to long again.
