ATM the version we have from Steve is not quite right. As soon as I get some free time I will sort out the small changes needed.

One major point is that the 11th step should be a zero hedge, effectively freezing the pair. This has not been programmed in yet and so right now you see an ever continuing, increasing pending value, which can be misleading.

Hope to get some time over the Xmas period.

Macman thanks for the reply....
My test's show that the Cable is a dead negative net in this system.....Was the first statement and is still negative on the second statement.....
When you start on the bot again could you offer me a replacement pair....The other 5 pairs are positive and good

The bot places all trades as limit trades.....If they are not triggered by PA they are killed off....

For your judgment, I send, in attachment, some results of the EA in object: to me they seems very good, too if, some time, the open orders have a excessive negative balance but never to risk of margincall!

Mine don't - see attached.

I'm sending along the end of year statement on the grid trader.......DD at a very high level but the bot is still running well...I'm using different reporting software that removes all the cancelled trades and makes it a little easier to read and a smaller file....
As before I can post individual pair statements if they would be useful.....

That is not a backtest graph........It is generated by Mt4 with the statement

Around Thursday or Friday of last week the Grid Trader hit the fan so to speak.....I'm not sure what I could have done to help it and it was as much my fault as anything because I wasn't watching it as close as I should have been and spending a lot of time on Beastie.
I'm going to continue to run it and see if it can dig itself out of the hole its in....

Macman,

Does this ea have any life left in it? I've been working though a few grid strategies on paper, but I've not gotten to the point that I want to code anything yet. I've got some time over the next 7-10 days if you want to try to breath some new life into this one. Let me know what logic issues it was having, and I'll see if I can't work them out. Fundamentally, this is the closest thing I've seen to what I'm trying to accomplish.
