I took only the first one
So for me today I had 5 setups with good entry conditions.
With SL15 + Spread and TP10 you would have 3 winners and 2 looser, if you have let them run till TP or SL hits.
However by taking them all and a spread of 2 pips, you would have a loss of 4 PIPS overall today. It means to get profitable you need a winning rate > 65% with this setups. 7 Trades out of 10 have to be successfull in average. Thats not an easy task, but reachable.
I think MissPips is already in this mode.
For me in the meantime it's quite easy to recognize a good setup, but however it's necessary to filter out of the good ones the better ones to get profitable.

Trix shows buy, price under coral and falling means sell -> no trade
never trade against trix.
M5 trix also says: it is bottom!
by the way, widen your stop loss two pip or so and reduce lot size slightly in this kind of trade (that was a wrong kind of trade to take, but it can be profitable)

By the way, add that SAH indicator like Miss Pips has it, I recommend.

I tested THV V4 for the whole 2010, buy using stupid guy method: Price above coral, cloud, trix ok, buy and opposite for sell:
Using 1:1 R:R scalping:
65% wins worst month
71% wins best month
I used very obvious trendlines, but only in less than third of cases. If used with fibo and lines, you can do better. Keep in mind, changing R:R in your favor will reduce! percentage of wins.
30wins / month using 1% risk per trade will give you almost +30% monthly growth. Since I also tested Asian session which is not good, because we need to sleep sometimes too, count with 17-22% growth a month and this is top performance... 1% per day, since there are 22 days or so a month without weekends. 1% per day is EASY. With 20% a month and a capital of 5000 you will have 5000x1.2^12=44580 dollas made in 12 month.... unrealistic figure, but if you combine small gains it will be realistic. Discipline is the key. I failed to wake up this morning even though I wrote down GBPUSD will fall on a paper and put alarm clock before London open... That's how you people not make money

Beginning of december 2009 and 2010 were the best times for THV and christmas week the worst. Never trade on holidays.
Again, if you make 1% a day (1 Trade) the whole year, you are going to have 5000x1.01^220 (220 days = year without weekends) =$44,634
If you are looking to double your account each week, I am pretty sure you are someone losing money... Because if you can double money each week, then
just starting with a capital of $2 you will have more money after a year and a half than there is money in this world...
I recommend everyone to read this post

I have taken the trade after a retracement of ~ 10 Pips,
I think all other conditions are o.k.
Unfortunately I was stopped out :-(

Just this one (i.e just this one that I didnt take. I could have traded it but I didnt because I usually spend that hour reviewing before the European open and I was looking at something else and I missed it). I didnt see any others that look like these twotoday.
- Fresh rainbow flips where for both rainbows its the first time
we see a good expansion (at least three layers of stripes on each.) Alternately the 5 can have all changed color in favor of the trade though not completely fipped. But then you really want the trixes and PA to look nice because that is riskier. I wouldn't do that on a day like today because as I mentioned this morning I was expecting choppiness because of where we are in the trend.
- ADX rising
- fresh trix crosses (dont want to see more than 3 to 5 bars since the crosss on the 5 m)
- 1m trix is near 0 slow trix is at least flattening out
- Good spreads on the 5 and 15 m trix, which manage to maintain their colors in favor of the trade while the 1m trix retraces against it.
- PA is normal looking - you see a two or three of those nice little waves - not a giant move down with no retraces before the one you enter.
There was one other at 14:20 GMT+1 that I would have taken although the 5 rainbow hadn't flipped (only changed color) because of the multiple divergences across several timeframes but for me that was too close to news.)
Remember that this signal is not only just when you get the 1m , 5m and 15 m trix agreeing. You need to see where they stand in relation to each other and in relation to how price is acting i.e how fresh they are with respect to each other, how far price has already moved, how close price is to the next trouble spot, how overbought or oversold the trixes are taking into consideration where you are in the trend (i.e in an old trend things get choppy so o/b or o/s matter more that when price has just blasted out of consolidation).
That having been said, those conditions do have a kind of 'look' to the rainbow and trixes. In a sense you could say that I am trading price action but I am using the 'look' of the rainbow (how the colors look, how the edge looks and where the bars are in relation to the edge) and of the relationship between the trixes and the trix lines to give me a feel for when a trend is strong enough but not too overdone so that it is safe to enter on a retrace .
I don't see any other trades to day that have that look to them. I can recognize the 'look' and I have posted pictures of it but I think that maybe I haven't quantified it well enough in words so that other people can recognize it too. Please post where is the other loser today and I will try to see where it doesn't match the right look.

only one trade for today, that's called patience.
But you are right, one good trade a day is enough.
On how many setups today did you decide not to take the trade?
I got 5 setups and took 3. One looser two winners. Over all 3 PIPS win.
Thats still my problem, the selection for the better ones....

Thanks everyone for the finding the Bugs, I didn't mean to clog up the forum with this stuff, thats what happens when you start to cut and paste and miss things. Found some missing code in the DB program, the idicator is OK. I have attached the whole works again, let me know if you see anything else that is strange as I have not checked out all the possible combinations. Let me know if you find any good alert combinations that work for you. I find the Buy and Sell trigger lines in combination with various alerts work good together.
