Yes, it will still work. Once the MA Trend is disabled, it reverts to using using a single ma for the trend.

I just downloaded this EA, and installed it. Can sombody tell me what timeframe it works on best?

check the preset folder for configurations for M1 and M5. Results vary....

Hi Everyone!

I'm new here, i introduced myself to the THV trading system for about 2 weeks ago.Now i would like to test this great EA.I have backtested the v1.132 for 1 days only(every thick), but it had taken very long(approx. 2 hours, i have 1,6Ghz dual core notebook).Why?How can i improve the speed?Has anybody any forward test result?if yes, which settings?Which version do i use?1.134 or the previous?And what is the development status?

Hi fellas.
no I don't have a set file to share yet but please bare with me.I have been testing this EA for some time with different parameters and I can say am well versed with the manual method.what I can say I noticed is that changing the money mangement that is,trailing stops,exits,partial profits and the like were very very influencial to the outcome to the extent of 1-200% difference.
That is without touching the indicator parameters themselves I could go from unprofitable backtest to profitable backtest just by tinkering with the money managment
Still testing,am gonna put up some of the set files and results,but please as you test the set files remember to include that factor which is I think a huge part.Am still not good at understanding money management myself so am reading articles bout it,am sure some of you mathematicians can contribute.:nerd:

I am waiting your results and sets.I will test it too with the standard and 1-2 unique settings for approx. 1 mont.

The above controls the MA1Period1. Typically this should be the smallest MA on the current time frame. The Min and Max can be used to set a "buffer"

If the MA_Trend Filter is used, then all the various EMAs on the different periods must be lined up (order) .

So for a trade to be considered valid:

MA1Period1 = 13 > MA2Period1 = 21 > MA3Period1 = 34 > MA4Period1 = 55 > MA5Period1 = 89


The picture show EMA on the M1 lined up... the same would be required for all the other time period.

Hello.
For install the ea and makes no operation, if I have activated mt4 allow direct operations and allow import of dll.
Perhaps we have to configure anything else, or only works one day the ea?

I recently downloaded the THV EA v1.134 from this tread a week ago. I see that this EA has a lot of potential if one knows how to set up and use it correctly. So the last couple days I tried to play with this EA but could get it to do exactly want I want it to do. I know I must do something wrong but I can’t figure out what the problem is. So if you don’t mind can you please take a look at my set file and let me know what did I do wrong?


Chart#1 the EA place a buy order when the MTFTrixDot#4 M15 fast is red.
Chart#2 the EA place a sell order when the MTFTrixDot#3 M5 fast is green.


What I want the EA to open a buy order only when if ALL the following conditions are true.



On a M1 Chart:


1. Price Cross Ichimoku-1000
2. Fast and Slow Trix Cross-1000
3. Fast Trix Direction up-1000
4. Slow Trix Direction up-1000
5. MTFTrixDot#1 M1 fast is green-1000
6. MTFTrixDot#2 M1 slow is green-1000
7. MTFTrixDot#3 M5 fast is green-200M5
8. MTFTrixDot#4 M15 fast is green-200M15

Everything else is zero.

Double Check that the Diamani Settings in the EA, match the values of the indicator on the Chart

Turn on the screenshot option, when the system places a trade it will snap a shot at that instant and then you will be able to see what the color was.

The screenshots are store in the expert/files folder.

This version of the MTF Trix squares works great only if you are taking signals realtime, for historical you would want to get the MTF Trix 1.9 which actually draws the Trix wave in MTF.. which in my opinion is much better

Thanks for your effort in this thread,
I want to know if it's necessary to have a template on the chart, if yes, which one I should use for v1.132 or 1.134.
One more thing, I remember you showed me a history of your trading with this EA, can I ask what is your preset for now and on what pairs do you use it.
I have traded with THV system before and I know it's absolutely profitable.
I hope I can help you with testing the EA.

Thank you very much for helping. It does make a lot of sense now. I very appreciated for the works and times you put into this EA. I still testing this EA and getting to know its features and functionality.


Tread, I have one more question for you? I watch the EA traded today and it skipped some trades that meet the buy and sell conditions. And when it eventually traded it will trade couple bars later. What did I do wrong?

I looked at the set file, most of your entries start with a 1....which mean "closed" candle .... try using a 2 instead..e.g:-

1. Price Cross Ichimoku-2000
2. Fast and Slow Trix Cross-1000
3. Fast Trix Direction up-2000
4. Slow Trix Direction up-2000
5. MTFTrixDot#1 M1 fast is green-2000
6. MTFTrixDot#2 M1 slow is green-2000

The presets would have been saved in your preset folder, during installation of the bot....

No templates are required. I attached the EA to a blank chart and let it run. You can add indicators to the chart is you want to monitor.

Hi Tread,


As I stay up through London Session watching the EA traded. I noticed that sometime the EA take the trade quickly when conditions are met but sometime it doesn’t even though all conditions are there several times. Could it be that the MTF trix red and green light that present on my computer screen may not be the same as the one that the EA calculated internally? I double check the setting in the EA and the indicator, they both the same. I know it makes no sense but I kinda feel like that after so many hours of testing. Most of my set-up are just simple. I did not use any filters at all. Just MTF trix light and MTF cloud with fast and slow trix direction with the trade on all open candled.


Here are a couple screen shots and a set file attach. The set file in here is for chart#1. I feel lost and need help. Any kind of help and advice will be greatly appreciated.
