Small question. With those bars all the same color and so compressed, how do you tell the positive bars from the negative bars? Wouldnt candles be easier to see?

Very strange
I never had a problem like this. Maybe something wrong with your windows that make metatrader to crash.

Try to download Metatrader 5 and see if you have the same problem.

Are you using Windows 7, MT4 need special security setup in order to properly update.

Delta the blue down-sloping fork overpower the green one price was not able to cross ML, will watch price here for further decision,we have important news today.

Hi pipin candles make chart messy & Also I already mentioned in my previous posts I don't concentrate on bars or patterns, mostly I trade on price rejection @ S/R zones or shadow or wick of the bar, So positive negative bars doesn't matter to me.

Here's some charts of the majors...with some probable paths of price. Tried to
short the USD/JPY at the first touch of the upsloping ML...now complete with count. Let's see what happens...

taq, a few questions if you dont mind

i notice many of your charts are 240, is 240 your preferred tf? if yes, why?
and do you use mtf analysis?

I'm keeping with my same forks of yesterday. Looks to me that the inner up fork is going to fail: Its mod schif (shown) now holds the key... Nice initial rejection of that confluence on the last bar.. But any rally is gonna have to contend with the schiff median/red UP confluence.

Targets: another move to red median looks real possible, if we can take out that 5344 low. Would expect the latest ABC 1:1 to be reached (aqua). This would also coincide with the larger ABC 1:1 off the high (green)

The one day I decide not to bother trading because of either A) My terrible bad luck or C) My terrible ability to trade forks , and I miss 1000 pips. I'm sure someone else here on the thread took it long tho.

Hey Big Pipin,

Don't beat yourself up. It doesn't help. I have not had a good start this week. Did better in my live "demo" account with target trading practice than in my performance account LOL. Not worried, I know it is just about getting in the swing. You have more than enough info. on how to proceed to improve on what you have been doing. Your "terrible bad luck" and "terrible ability to trade forks" as you put it can be fixed. It is all tied to having the right information, in the right context of understanding and the right approach. But you've gotta work on the attitude. Only you can fix that. So, be encouraged, get the basics down and come out fightin' and pippin' .

I should have been more clear. I did not have a position - I liked your count and S-R work.

I should have included my 20 minute chart along with the 240.

My 240 - shows end of wave 5 - possibly

My M20 - shows resistance at LML and a bounce for a retest.

I am looking for a new high above 1.5665 - Unless something dramatically
changes.

I went long after the news and after the retest held and exited at the
SR line and the Black Line which is the ATR for an upside move for the day -if the low is in place.

I know how you feel! I felt the same way after killing my fifth or sixth small live account, i am now only demo trading untill the day i can convince myself (and my wife) i can really be profitable, i mean being able to multiply an account by a factor of 10. I think that at the point you are in your analysis you only have a lack of discipline in order to systematically apply your strategy unemotionally. This mindset can be attain only by starting very low risk. Check how much pips you average a weeks, do the maths so that you grow you account an average of 2-3% a week. That would grow an 1000$ account to over a Million within 5 years. That would mean trading 0.01 lots per 1000$ only a 100:1 leverage and doing about 50 pips a day. At this level, you can stay zen and disciplined whatever the outcome.
