Strat's Long Term Stress Free Trading

Well, eurjpy last position market stopped me out to the pip @ BE. On audcad trade, market stopped at a few pips from my SL and turned around so I am still in the trade. This is a range trade, may it be start a new trend? Will see how price interacts with Boss 20 and 9800 level.

The same way of analysis the trade from a few posts back. Will see how the trade work out.

Short EU from the BEEB on the 4th of January. 1/3 banked already.

It is simply a post showing a successful trade for some of the new students to see. (Since nobody is talking about it)

Anyone can post successful trades - after they happen.

Hindsight trading is the most successful way to trade and all your post proves is that you can see a trade after the event(can't we all).

If ur trying to prove what a great trader you are, try calling them before they happen and you'll earn a lot more respect. But I suspect that is beyond the scope of this thread because it won't make any money for you or Strat on the paid for web site.

Still watching this one. Well respecting R and trend line, will follow price action.

I have a Boss support at 108.5 and price just broke through puting a BEEB just from 20 and supply trend line.

The problem is that the next Big Boss support is right there at 106.6 and there no much room.

Hm, I thought there's always enough room for your trades to move

GBPCHF looks good also, bounced of a lot of confluence (don't have a snag at hand):
- BRN 1.5
- Ret 50 & 38
- Weekly SR flip at 1.51
- Trendline

If today closes under 1.49 I'm in.

I dont like GHBCHF right now because there's no clear PA on the Daily.

Judging by the impulsive move straight into 1.5 resistance, I have a feeling that tomorrow wont be a big move down. Maybe there will be a BEEB or a BEOB and then that's a setup I would like.

What are your thoughts on Chunnel now? I must confess to fading the neckline break as I still had the conviction that this pair was going to sink as the weekly action was only a retrace into the monthly as we discussed. This is not a willy waving post at all, I'm trying to learn from experienced traders as to their thoughts and synopsis. Would you still be looking to get long of this pair?

In a side note I have a yearly forecast from MS today and they are saying the trades of this year will be long USD and GBP!! Short JPY and EUR, they think short EurUSD will be THE trade this year. Headwinds are also faced by AUD and NZD but if you want to play the appreciation of the Yuan against the USD then short AUDUSD is a play (as Chinese interest rate rises will be directly linked to weaker demand from commodities hence the high Beta of the AUD coming into play)

Forgive my Funnymental ramblings - I have an Economics exam tomorrow as well after a year of studying this stuff; not PASR per se but some colour. A good mate of mine in the city remarked today in fact that he has learnt a good lesson this year - pretty much ignore all the news and tripe pumped on Bloomberg and just trade what you see on the charts!!

- P&F charts - what's your view. Said friend is well into them and says that they are excellent for 'with trend' entries based on breakouts after consolidation and due to the lack of the 'time axis' they are quite reliable? Would be keen to know your thoughts.

I would say it's a with trend entry - I have found that oddly 'with trend' entries are always the scariest - they often look like the trend is over. For me you have a delve into the Strat Shadow and a second lower high and a BEEB. The only issue is the RR of trading into that big fat red line. I would say the better Eur trade could be eurusd as for some reason the USD is going bid due to stronger growth and inflation risks. However, NFP tomorrow so all bets are off until normal trading resumes Monday!

This one is also on my watch list. I like the Boss price action on retracement back to Boss 20&50.

I am trailing the second position just in case, but have take TP set @ next support.

First position closed, last two @ BE.

Na, no trade calls in Strat's site, except for the ones we do ourselves.
