Thanks for reminding me that. Its seems so obvious but in reality you find yourself often on the opposite side very quickly... youre convincing yourself that youre on the right side while you should look at the chart and do what you see not what you think... LOL

What are peoples thoughts on this BEOB on the USD? I see parity, which is a nice PPZ, the 38.2 fib from the last swing high, and a minor PPZ all for resistance to a bearish move as confluence. Plus there is a pinbar 6 bars back that will hopefully by an early indicator of a bearish move.

Mike, should my stop now be moved on top of the poodle pinbar to follow the 2 bar stop method? Or do I continue to wait since I do not have enough bars to start the count?

Working hard not to close winners after 10 pips this year :-)

The GBPCHF looks interesting too... downtrend, ppz around 1.49...would be good for a few pips although it doesnt look as nice as the USDCHF
They are great locations . .the 1.4900 Gbp/Chf and the .9500 on the Usd/Chf. The transformation from Support turning into Resistance once Price broke through and closed below. Its what we look for, ppfx and this opportunity was no different.

Well just a slight difference .. lol . Its the old strong Support turns back into strong Support once Price breaks through and closes below . .trick.

It happens.

Touch traders take their small losses and lower time frame PA waiters give it a pass.

One thing great about these levels . .if they don't act as strong Resistance as expected, it doesn't diminish the strength of the level. . .meaning it will usually act as strong Support as it did in the past, in this case.

So an opportunity to go long, from this return to strong Support, was there . .knowing what to look for is what we can discuss.

Long time no see. Just long time - more reading, less understanding.. Hahaha

Anyway this is my ask of the day: AUDNZD Daily.

I have put on a Fib retracement on that last move up and price finds support right on the fib. Now the big guys here always talk about what happened BEFORE the candle and whats the story.. And this is how I interpret the story:

First of all we have a nice big BUOB sitting right on Fib (as mentioned) and also we have a PPZ that has quite some touches on it.
And along with that we have a nice inside bar that didn't break anywhere and another "stacked" inside bar.
So what do you think about it? Why should/shouldn't I take the trade?

Many of you will surely notice that I haven't marked any trouble areas on the chart, and that is because I think I would need some help with that! I can't find any good trouble areas that "fit" good together with a PPZ.
I am sure that I am mising something here?

Tottaly agree with you. You made so many great posts about ppz levels that this lesson finally remained in my head. The only problem was that i went short on USDCHF, i took a small loss (0,8%- i miscalculated and instead of setting a stop of 1% i set it on 0,8% , so i took an even smaller loss ..LOL..) and then cause i was on college i didnt have a chance to go long after the break. I should listen to Bemac and wait till 15th Jan, but the fingers were ithcing me, so i had to demo it. Well, better luck next time.

Looks good to me, space, fibo, engulfs 2 bars, clean retracements (no bar hi/low on your way). Why is not A+?

Price is on a tear . .not a bearish bar in sight on the 4 hour. The first touch (FTB) gave a bit of a bounce which is a good indication of Resistance . .and Raczek emphasizes the importance of this approach (FTB).

I think it was a good loss for you, ppfx . . I 'm sure you learned a lot from it . .I know I did . .

Next time just try asking yourself

Where price is coming from and in how manner it comes?

Can I fight back those mouvements?

maybe it will help you don't forget the market is a battlefield you must make your manoeuvres strategicaly

Timing wasn't the best and close could have been a little lower although closed below BRN.

Still a valid trade and still wish I was in but I moved my stops up too early.
