Positioning is extreme in many pairs. A/U is high at 4 shorts for every long... but other pairs are through the roof! G/Y is over 8 longs for every short. Other pairs are extreme also. We are set up very well for further trend continuation. Many retail traders are set to be stopped out or liquidated by betting aginst market trends to continue. I hope this does not happen. I am out of the market right now, but there is extreme danger out there for many traders who are against market trend. A/U has not had a 50% retrace since 8/25. Will we get one here? I would not bet on it.... in fact, I am not betting on it. I hope for all the shorts out there that this is the time. Above 1.0225 there is nothing to stop it for almost 500 pips. You mean you are short since AUG at 9260? Dont you have to pay a daily interest to maintain this short?

not true you just dont pay it as an interest.. just cause you have a muslim account - I think it is.... account doesnt mean you can speculate and ignore the rules of the market.. they just charge it from you in different ways I believe.. like blocks quarterly the difference in net interest gained/lost ive seen it done 30 different ways .. but dont think your broker is paying those interest rates for free at the end of the day u still pay it

Shorts have increased on this last spike. No capitulation yet. Small Daily Channel broken to the upside. No more channel resistance until the 106-107 area. If you are short, I hope your targets are very small (10-20 pips). Long term short on this pair = account destruction.

Have a feeling that AUD jumped up after EURUSD crossed 1.3400, but now EURUSD is back to 1.3350 yet there is not big change in AUDUSD. Isn't it strange?

Just finished taking part in a trading contest run by a swiss broker, I ended up sitting in 4th place at the close of play on Friday night. what struck me as interesting was the number of traders that has a account in excess of the starting balance $100K.

Only 60 traders from 500 managed to trade with a profit above what they started with. About 12%, what I noticed was the winners mostly traded in the trend, often using larger stop then their take profit targets, which most books will tell you is incorrect trading. Often they missed the exact turn, being content to get into a move which was well underway.

I think that people make the same mistake with the AUDUSD, selling it is financially crazy its going up. I only traded in the trend and I made 60% on my account in a month. I would suggest the same to all traders.

someone has to fund the trend traders profits lol...
How come interest free ? I am short too on this pair from a long time and I am paying daily interest.

Which broker are you with ?
Still the question is pending an answer -

Why when sells outnumber buys orders AUDUSD is moving up? Isn't the law of supply and demand valid in this case? Or the volume of buy orders is greater?

What is the community take on the future of AUDUSD? Can we expect some negative correction after today's rise on Sunday/Monday?

Its a muslim reason they are not allowed for some reason to pay interest as per belief i dunno if they are unable to recieve as well..

I think they now require proof.. because people where trying to hedge between two accounts and draw interest..
