Sounds good DC.

Can you show us an example of this on EUR/GBP?

I know it is nerve raking when you post a chart like this but it gets easier and actually the pressure helps. Look at the question I got from Jarroo a few posts back. My knees are still knocking together. Klunk, Glang, CliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinK!

Think I need a glass of port....While the cats away, the mice will play.

Pinbar,

I see you drink a lot of Port.

As you probably know, that wine is produced in my country. Have you ever been here?
I do love a glass of a good vintage Port in the end of a good meal.
Do you drink only old wines or do you also have recent vintages (from the last 10 years)?

Wish you all a great 2011.

Oh yes, I will drink non vintage wine if it is good.

I was given two bottles of vintage port, don't normally drink port but it is good after a meal and it helps my wife to sleep.

No, I have unfortunately never visited Portugal, I plan to and hear it is a great place to live, full of history & culture.
I also hear it is a nice place to retire to and the cost of living is very reasonable.
Is this so?

Wow!! big mouth you say? Sheesh you never told us you were an artist. Now that's bad

So you do it more like a profession or a personal hobby?

Sorry Ghous, must have missed this post.

Well, I have here quite a few exhibitions here in Japan and sold paintings to some famous people here.

I don't like exhibiting actually and really, I don't like selling art, it makes me feel worse than a prostitute. Prostitutes sell only their body for a short time, not their soul. Artists sell the expression of their soul and that is something I recently do not like.

For the last 10 years or so, I have painted mainly abstract works.
However formerly I am trained as a landscape artist.

This is what people say about me....Probably true..LoL

http://people.tribe.net/atruthseeker...2-e043aba0e654

And, nobody asked, so I didn't mention it.

Pinbar...I am very envious...I always wished I could draw/paint, but I can barely write my name legibly......wonderful creativity within your soul. You have an internal gift.

If I may ask what brought you to the trading business?

Thanks for sharing,

Bill

Well, to be honest, the market for abstract art is very small here in Japan.
My artist friends always say , If you don't paint Mount Fuji or cherry blossoms it is hard to sell art in Japan.

I got interested in trading as a hobby, it just struck me as being so interesting.

I'm talking about vintages, despite being from the last decade, like this one:

http://www.garrafeiratiopepe.pt/produtos/554-655.jpg

Portugal is a quiet little country with great weather and a relatively low cost of life.
Of course that I, born and raised here, have a lot of critics regarding my country but I guess that's normal.

Anyway, I think that a visit here is always worthwhile.

Sorry for all this off-topic but talking about alcohol makes sense today.

Again, Happy new year to all.

yes, it is definately. it's a beautiful europe. i still remember my travels in 1993 to beautiful coimbra, alcobaca, nazare, lisboa and so on.
we stayed at a house facing the ocean somewhere north of nazare. i remember the unspoilt beaches. i grabbed out an old pic. bad quality either, but you may get an impression of what it looked like (and still look maybe) back in 1993. i wonder how much have changed since then.
