This is why trading with "hope" is so dangerous. The market is ALWAYS right. Believe it and trade in agreement with it. Arrow and shaded area show what happens when we try to fight the market...it fights back. First chart here was posted with the quote.

Price did find support in the area of the green, dashed "What-If" fork/red L-MLH before blasting off today. It was an important place to watch for the next move. Original chart, intermediary re-test chart and chart from today attached. New highs not yet made...will have to see how strong this will be.

Hi pipin

Updated EG 240-min chart
Price did bounce back from ML but the bar was not tradeable for me.
I will wait for price to break ML & retest to initiate short or take the last swing high & retest quartile to initiate long. Let us see how price will unfold.

Remember let the PA confirm your PF not the other way round.

Ok, while i was at the cinema watching harry Potter... Price have reached U-MLH nicely. I am afraid but what about a short from now? My sell stop is set.

Nice one GY also price is reversing from daily quartile nice place to initiate shorts. Let us see how price will unfold.Also have a look @ GU daily retesting ML.

I use PA for confluence at areas where I see support or resistance. I see that you are doing the something similar! What types of bar(s) patterns do you look for?

Thank you. It's good to know your sharing my view on EU. GU might also be candidate for a short, a retest of the 4 HR L-MLP. sounds plausible. And seems in sync with GU natural cycle. But wouldn't we need a daily candle close in order to validate the re-test of the daily ML? Also the 200 SMA is lying just under @ 5400. (100 pips)

Not bar patterns as such. I concentrate mainly on price rejection or shadow or wick of bar @ PF or S/R zones .

That would be too late if we wait for dailies to close & also risk will increase .If price is or @ around important zones we can go to 240 or 60-min chart to check how price is behaving .

GY what indicator you are using for ratios? I am looking for something similar which can show exact ratios not harmonic or equivalent with no. of bars & less colorful if you have any plz share.

Zup does a good job but have to much stuff showing. I like to use a set of zz done by same author. zigzag_new_nen3 is required for the other to work.

Weekly US 10 yr note.
Look at the symmetry & beauty & how price respected the PF. These markets are the first to show reversal & S&P & major pairs are negatively correlated to 10 yr note. It might create problem for indexes & EU & GU weekly are already in down trend.

Let us see how it will unfold?
