I am new to Ichimoku and still learning. I hope I can gain knowledge with the help of fellow Ichimoku Traders. Any help will be appreciated.
@Mero, I would appreciate if you could send me the book. I tried to doenload it from the link, for some reason, it did not work for me.

The more peoples read his book the more seminars and website subscribers he is gonna sell, and the more his name will be known.
This is the new reality of the "free" information. Same goes for newspapers, books movies and music, they know how to take advantage of it.
Even if you buy the book you can return it after you've read it and photocopied all the information you needed, or just get it from the public library if the book made the mark to get into the library. If you enjoy collecting books then buy it.
The charity is just a bit up marketing trick.

It’s amusing to watch you guys spin stealing books and music on the internet, and In case you don’t know it libraries don’t go to the book store and steal the books off the shelves so it can be in the library, libraries around here are paid for by local taxes they are not free.

The guy that wrote the book has most of the information in the book on the internet for free you don’t need to steal any book to get that info, he has the ichi wiki, his website has free training and he has several videos on you tube that are free.

And on top of that if you would put as much effort into reading this thread as you do figuring out how to steal a book on the internet you would see that all the information you need for this thread is in this thread.

And the best part is if you are trying to say you can’t afford a book on trading then how can you afford to trade?

No problems with people downloading content off the web as they see fit however let's not bring piracy to our thread.

Everyone knows you can use torrentz, usenext, and a multitude of other sites to DL things without paying for them. Let's just keep discussion here to the names of titles. If someone chooses to DL things illegally then it is their own moral decision.

I just hope they buy a copy if they find the information in the book makes them money.

Still there's NO substitute for screen time and understanding price action.

now we are able to identify a trend..

we leave some pips on the street, but we can get a lot of pips..

i have a question for all of you:

how could we identify the end of a trend?? before it's too late?

i mean, i know that if we are in a down trend, and appear a bullish kumo breakout, the trend has finished, but i want to identify it before!!!

You remind me of the dog and his bone or you have a bird in your hand but you want to exchange it for two in the bushes.Trend following methods do not pick top or bottoms.Then again it's according to the timeframe you are trading on,with Ichi the longer the time frame the more pips is wasted before a full ichi signal is confirmed.Make up your mind,do you want to be a winner or a looser?

who you are talking to ?

If a lot of move is wasted in Ichimoku then how would you define those lots of pips wasted in losing trades when you're trying to catch the top and bottom ? and every time you think this is the top it just go up and up

If the trend has been formed in H1, I think a close above / below KS-H4 mark the end of the trend.

I guess there is no right way to determine the trend? But in ichimoku, we only try capture the movement of the trend and miss the start/end of the trend. This is why we always yell good pips for the past weeks, didnt we? So don't forget the core value of ichimoku; trading/riding the trend.

Ok Guys here is the deal

No one , and i mean it when i say it , NO ONE is able to predict what the market will do !!!

so don't waste your time trying to pick up a top or a low , or even try to think if the trend is over or still running

we trend follower trade what we see, we don't try to work against the market or predict the market move !!!

we simply follow the trend we see cause TREND IS YOUR FRIEND

if the price is above the kumo then we are in an uptrend so we buy !!
if below the kumo then we are in a downtrend so we sell !!

easy game , easy rules ,a lot of pips , and more over no hard work or extra analysis or bal bla bla blo ,

keep it simple guys don't waste your time on things will never neverrrrr make you money

Hi mate,

All depends on the TF that you are trading and how you set your profit targets. Vic/Legalindo and GeraldFX are right about ichi giving all the signals that you need.

If you are trying to understand when the trend has finished then the suggestion about price crossing the next higher TF KS is a good one.

If you are trying to milk the absolute maximum out of a trend then that is a long road to travel. People will often use oscillators like stochastics, CCI or MACD however the values that you use really need to be tweaked for every pair that you are trading as they all have vastly different trading ranges and characteristics to their price action.

Because we are chasing entries on such a large number of currencies using the Sheet, accurately exiting trends at the optimum level is highly unlikely.

In my opinion it will cost you more in lost pips trying to exit at the "best" time than it does just happily banking the ones you have and looking for new trade setups. Sometimes in trading it is better just to take the advice of other traders who have been in the market for a few years rather than learning the lesson yourself the expensive way.

The fact that the opinion here is unanimous amongst a group of people who are making decent money should give you enough confidence to just trust in the Sheet and focus on "new" opportunities rather than focussing on missed opportunities.
