THV system, final edition

Is there anyone who make maney with this system continosly ( mor then 6 months).

You need to set up an exclusion rule. I have not use norton in a while but the steps should be along this lines

1. Open Norton Internet Security and select the "Norton Internet Security" tab at the top of the window.

2. Click on "Settings" and then "Auto-Protect" and choose "Configure."

3. On the left pane of the window select "Exclusions."

4. Click on "New" and then navigate to the file you wish to exclude from scanning. After you have added the file click the "Apply" and then "OK" buttons.


I think the new versions of Norton allows for Folder Exclusion, so it may be easier.

Try this to also navigate to the Exclusion Setup

1.) From the main Norton Interface: Computer Settings > Exclusions > Scan Exclusions > Configure.

2.) In the lower portion of the Scan Exclusions Window under Auto-Protect Exclusions, click the Add button.

3.) In the Add Item window, navigate to the path of your program, such as "C:THVDB" and select it. "Include subfolders" should remain checked. Click OK, Apply and OK your way out.

(1) I haven't got any signal from the THVDB. I wonder to know what kind of alert will be showed and when the alert will be announced?

(2) Should I wait for retest of breaking out support / breaking out resistance and then see whether it's good time to sell/buy on the dash board?

or

Trade with the dash board (all light on with same color) and then see any other support/resistance. If not, enter it.

(3) Why you simply add Buy & Sell Line on the chart without any other indicator (e.g. trend line, fib level)? Is they must be place before trading hour session?

You need to use the MT4 horizontal line tool or trend line tool to draw these 2 lines, you can find these icons to draw these at the top of the chart, these are MT4 drawing tools. Once drawn you then must rename them by double clicking the line to select it and then right click the line for a edit box where you must rename them to Buy and Sell lines. The values of these lines should then appear in the top left corner of the chart if you have them set to true in the Indicator settings. If you don't get any files created in the files folder be sure to check your permissions on that folder, you must have Read/Write rights for these to be created. Right click the files folder and check the properties.

The system is working but you can't trade just mechanically, you have to understand s/r areas and use the trend.

All most any "system" works if it fits you and you know how to use it. I am reminded of a system in the 80's that worked real well. it was based on the hem line of a CNBC reporters skirt. if her skirt was higher than the day before go long, if the skirt was longer then the day before go short. I trade a live account using both my trading knowledge and THV. My last trades 20 trades include 16 wins 3 loses and 1 even.

Only one trade triggered last night out of 9 using the Dash Board and the following settings.

Trade Window: 07:00 – 19:00 FXDD

M1: ADX_Present > ADX_Previous and Both > 25
13, 21, 34, 55, 89 EMA and Coral
M5: Coral, Fast Trix
13, 21, 34 EMA
M15: Coral, Cloud, Fast Trix, Slow Trix
ADX_Present > ADX_Previous and Both > 25

Others: Daily Range < 50 % of 20 day average daily range
Horizontal Buy and Sell lines
Buy = 1.48271
Sell = 1.47499

What I have been doing is setting the alerts in the indicator as shown in previous posts. Just before my trade session starts I place my "Buy" and "Sell" lines on the chart. For their placement I look for support/resistance areas. This is a judgement call, use what you are familar with. If the Pair is in a channel set them up for a channel breakout. If the PAIR is trending you may want to use a trend line rather than a horizontal line, its your call. These lines work nice as a filter to keep you out of some of the false alerts.

I wait for all the alerts I have set up to be Red or Green and then an alert is triggered. You can add or delete which alerts you want to use by setting them in the indicator untill you get a group of alerts and time frames that seem to give you a positive money flow. The alerts only get you part way there, when you get an alert it is up to you to make the final call as to Buy or Sell.

You can use fibs and other indicators on your chart to help you place these lines. Just be sure to name them "Buy" and "Sell", as that is what the program looks for.
The DB is only to help you filter trades and also it will keep you from needing to set in front of the computer all the time looking at charts.

The DB is just another tool for us novices, if nothing else it has a lot of nice bright colors.

Your email must be set up in your MT4 platform to work.

Although I started trading only six months ago but I have gone through many systems including THV and I know it is okay. Traders’ success or failures depend on them more than the system. I wasted a lot of money when I started, through overtrading and premature/wrong entry. There was a particular day when I opened 5 trades without stop loss; they all went against me and I thought they would reverse between the close of NY session and opening of Asian session. Unfortunately I fell asleep and when I woke up, 75% of my money was gone due to my inexperience and foolishness. Then I did not know much about FF. Later when I started going through the threads I discovered my mistakes. In this business no system is 100% correct but one need to stick to the one he or she feels is okay. I don’t think it is proper to condemn this system.

Hi, First time poster, I have added all the indicators , file name ,and so on and I get run time error 76, no path found? How could I correct this to get the db to work? Thanks in Advance, Great work.

Attached is an automated installer for the Seller9's DashBoard.

It will place all files in relevant locations and create a short cut to the program and the PDF in the start menu.

You will still need to configure the Dashboard as per Seller9 instruction
