Ken's Continuing Successes with EO's system

Same chart as above (A/U), just added a different perspective on the top. I didn't get the short, I need to setup a second account.. Who knows which side will win, but with two very obvious entry points, you could enter one position long and cover, then enter one position short and cover, and let the market fight it out.

If we can use the new information with our old . blend them , we can maybe see what will be a sucessfull or failure .

In added a s/r line to this chart of Erics, Just to show it was a retest of a break, so would beware of reversing and it was seen to soon . according to the timing.

So will still have to see in real time what unfolds . But anytime I see something radicl different that makes sense it is hard not to get a bit upbeat about it.

Just as always let common sense prevail. If it don't look right it probably isn't.

I was thinking more about this on my bike ride home from work. That if we get one of these entries and it looks to be a runner once we cover the intial entry

we could set P.O orders in a firing line . to go off every 20 pips with a 15 pip stop. then at a good level that could turn we could set a entry with a stop that would tp some of our run so as not to lose it . Then a t another level which would confirm the break add some back or if we happen to be awake add at the retrace levle of a continuation 1 or 5 o'clock entry normally.

This way us that live in a bad time zone could profit from this type scaling as well . might even be ebtter for us nervous finger types.

Ken gave up some exercise, so this morning just watch out how the asian breakout, no play, only keep an eye on the development. now, probable the next long setup....

Hey Ken thanks for the input about the m's and w's I have been thinking about this stuff and I feel we have enough information to work with. What I mean is in some ways we are not privy to any real market maker activity or signal pairs or whatever BUT we have been given a glimpse into something that a lot of us have intuitively suspected all along and that is that the smart money seeks to "juke" us like in football by faking short and running long or whatever slick combination they have come up with.

What I am going to do is look at my favorite pair GU and see where she behaved in the m/w manner than I will try to see if I can find a rhythm to it, for example time of day, session 2 up days then down day 3 in a row thingy. I'm not the brightest student but I will try my best to come up with something and I will share it with the thread when I put something together this week.

Any volunteers to dissect another pair so we can compare notes? I would be looking for...

 

1. M's and W's
2. consolidations
3. first M or W after Asia/pre-Frankfurt/London
4. how many days in row when market is trending
5. how many sessions in a row trending
6. length in pips of the trends (for adding to positions)

If anyone can think of anything else to look for please feel free to add. This could be monumental. A lot of us have been played for a long time and we have been scared to lose money because we have lost so much money. I myself have adopted a 20-40 pip take profit mentality and in many ways it serves me but what if we could do better?

There are some really bright people around here and I think with the information we have if we worked together and collaborated we could bring our trading to the very highest levels possible!

Here is a good trade off A/U last night/ this morning trading from W to M. It is Only a 60 pipper though so might not be worth it. , if you scaled in at each new 1:00 entry or about 15 pips could have finished with a bunch >>>

I rememebered something a supposed commercial trader posted once . That where he traded they scaled into a positive trade every 20 pips and scaled out every 50. so your adding more than twice as fast as taking away. this of course assuming a correct entry.

That last M on A/U has some very nice things to say on the 4H and daily! This could be a 200 pipper.

Yes I have also already noticed just like taking profit at a strong s/r ppa area , A retest entry is almost always available if the trend continues. A m can also become a w for continuation after consolidating but trading the legs . it can be a entry better than a breakout. still in infancy stages on this though.

For example e/j had a w then a m. for the run down last night without a real stop hunt . first trade could have been covered second was runner continuing short from friday.

I was just doing this chart on e/j and the thought accured to me That This could have been the signal Infinity was using for his reversals. If it just so coinceded with a ma trade so much the better.

I can see the high probablity of reversing.

One of the main issues I see with this is identifing the W's and M's and not miss reading them to soon as the opposite. I think learning the common levels that these will accure and the time factor will prevent a lot of false jump starts.

Also just waiting for it's true colors to show . as a late entry doesn't cost you a lot and can actually be a better drawdown free entry. Just like the second leg entries instead of touch trades. The touch gets retested causing doubt and nervousness. But even if you scalp the first the knowledge of the W and M can add some credablitity to a re-entry which is hard for some to do.

Yeah that's the point I was trying to make in my post last night although I don't think I did a good job of it. He loved that little 10EMA pattern on the 15M whenever it was in confluence with HTF S/R, bigger pattern, etc..

I used to really enjoy watching him trade. Just like watching a master of any art. Just always seemed confident and doubt free about everything he did. Without aroggance or belittling anyone.

He could spin on a dime and go full throttle in the other direction. If it failed as they will he didn't hesitate about jumping in the other way .

All this has been on the charts forever and even without the input from that video. Just that little nudge can be what it takes for some of us to have a realazation of what we should and could be doing.

Just like scaling out of winning trades till you hear that it is a act of fear and your honest enough and have enough common sense to believe that statement. We can continue to handicap ourselves forever.

I mean the light comes on and ,. Scale out of a trade you got into soon maybe that might just need a bit of wiggle room . But if a trade is going right, add to it as long as you have a sensable plane in place not risking anymore than your intial entry.

If you enter mulitple positions then you can move your stop to capture some if it pulls back you don't ever have to let it come back to BE. But I do like the idea of the exits as well.

I am thinking first entry to BE , add a position once it is able to be moved to BE move the intial to the seconds BE which will lock in profits. If we then add 2 positions . Once they are moved to BE move entry 1 and 2 to that stop locking in those gains. so furth and soon.

It isn't as hard as it sounds . harder to write than to do. If your platform enters your orders with stops in place . then all you have to do is drag them to the new location after each adjustment.

I would alow for a small buffer zone to automatically lock in gains like if your stop is 15 wait for price to move 20 that will lock in 5 pips. if the new entries are stopped by some weird spike.

Maybe I will do a chart to illustrate the idea and get some feed back from you. But it is true to compound eacn and every trade in this fashion is the true means to riches. The one or even two great trades will pay for so many false entries it isn't even a question if we should but why haven't we.

It is these fudamental shifts in thought that can open our eyes to the true way to trade.

But fear can't be a option.

Scaling in and out but not with a pyramid type where we enter 3-2-1. more like a tower where 2%+2%+2% and so forth...

You are right in saying to leave a buffer between one scale to the next. Either based around the intial risk from trade 1 or from a ma at a certain distance.

The key here is to allow price to sway back and forth, adding and reducing...adding and reducing....2% in....1% out...2% in....another 2% in....1% out and so forth.

Im not getting into whats possible R% but lets just say that its pretty common to get anywhere from 5% upto 50% in one trade (13th december-e/u is my record close to double account balance).

Not bragging, just stating the obvious for you and those that are willing to believe, test and prove it to themselves.... nothing else.

And also this isnt on every trade. out of 10 trades I may get 2 maybe 3 bombs, the rest are small winners and very small loosers.
