I am long both the EU and EG (fortunately or unfortunately :-)) because my MACD painted one lone green signal bar. It probably has to do with differences in the closing time for 4H candles between my broker and yours.

All AUD, EUR, GBP pairs went south yesterday... and still going.

Very volatile day to say the least. We live to trade another day thanks to money management. I am currently floating 3.5% down and hoping for a pair or two to turn around. If not, I will be working to get out of a small drawdown - typical life of a Forex trader.

still long..short 21/89 crossover is near, hope one leg up accord to macd for damage control (hopefully). Yesterday it hit 21 ema, I placed long...macd & stoch didnt agree. That's valuable lesson I learned! This is great thread! Thanks!

I may be wrong on this but E/G seems to be forming a slight MACD divergence with bias going short. Plus the fact that there is clear resistance around the 0.85 level

We'll soon find out once there is a clear H&S pattern formed.

Hi all,

ill share some different approach which I am developing. It works on 5 EA and has a good potential. I also see some space in 1M trading where you trade in 15M trend direction - Daily trades. Also developing EA on that stuff.
Just in consideration ill post this weeks results.

first is an overview of december trading - and later this weeks results for 21 currency pairs vs 7 currencies. EAs work only on trend signals. A plan is to find least bought currency and sell it to most wanted http://cdn.forexfactory.com/images/s...im/winking.gif

Anyone still trading this system? I had a 1.75 % loss in December but the markets were not trending. I still believe there is potential here. Sburton I remember you said you were going to go live in the new year. Is that the case!?

I am trading a slight variation of this system, but my results for December were below par. I guess that December and January are probably not going to give great results given the time of the year and the nature of the markets during that time.

Keep trying in February and beyond for more accurate results.

Hi Mitserdof

As mentioned above, I have been demo trading a slightly (and perhaps simpler) version of this system with good success. In fact such has been the success that I've decided to start trading it in a small account.

If you want to give any system a try, perhaps demo it for a few months.

I was in contact with him via PM late last year and early this year, however have not heard from him since.

I am fortunate that after playing around with his system, I was able to put together a system to suit me.......and so far profitable.

I wish I could give you some stats for the original system, but I have none.

this system on its own does NOT work well at all. i knew this from the beginning, but did not want to discourage sburton. not a profitable system. probably explains why sburton has left the thread, or so it appears.

i didnt have much success demoing it...and could easily see the unpredictable nature of using it. there are far better systems out there that require less effort and less time.

Agree, that's why I gave up on it fairly quickly........however.......if tweaked just a little bit......
