looks like YOU lost internet.....probably not your broker/feed you need to switch but maybe your internet provider.....ive had similar stuff happen turned out to be a bad wireless router..... bought a cisco switch and hard wired my machine in rather than wireless no troubles 2 years running

Can anyone advice how get dollar index chart up I can get the pairs no problem.I'am using code /DXZ0 JUST BLANK CHART.
Also when i try load tick chart it only shows last few bars no historical .
Appreciate any help.
making green pips large and red pips small this is my goal.

Is anyone else having trouble logging on to the MB Trading website??? The only way I can get the site to display is if I use the google link......Cannot log in under my favorites or if I type it in? Whats the deal?

Ok, hopefully someone here can help me out.....I just opened a live account with MBT using the MT4 platform. I initially logged into my live account on my laptop which is works fine and I can log on. When I try to log in on my desktop I get the following error message in the journal... "Public key not found" and will not log me on. What is the deal with this? I chatted with a rep for MBT and he said it might be a MT4 error? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Are you using an EA?

I am, but I too thought that might have been the issue......I dont think it is because I did a complete uninstall and reinstall with no EA's present and still got the error. Like I said, I can log in on my laptop with all my EA's without an issue!

The MetaTrader 4 trading platform offers Advanced Security authentication, which is based on the use of 1024-bit RSA encryption. All authentic data of your account, apart from common encryption, will be additionally signed with a numeric key automatically generated from the first time you log into Metatrader Client.

Clients are only able to login to their account with their Master password on a computer that has the key file in their config folder. However you can use the investor password (read only) on any computer. In order to do this, you may copy or email the key file to all computers you intend to use and drop this file into the config folder.

you need to copy the RSA key file from laptop.....I log in to my MBT/MT4 account using 4 different copies across 3 different machines. What I do is install mt4 on new computer so it sets up the registry files and whatever mt4 needs to have to run..... then copy a backup over the new install, that i keep on an sd card....this also copies my RSA key

Hey, does anyone else see that EUR/USD jumped down over 600 pips (to 1.2600) on Sunday (December 12) at around 12 noon, EST?

I know this type of thing doesn't happen often, but what would happen if you had a position open on the pair (LONG), and the 600+ pips blew through your stop?

Would MB Trading automatically close you out at that ridiculous loss, even though the price bounced back up 600+ pips in the same hour?

If so, then I will have to make sure NEVER to hold a position over the weekend with MB Trading.

The markets are closed over the weekend and in this particular case the FX market at MBT opened at 5PM EST so the quote you saw at 12PM wasn't a tradable quote and could not trigger a stop order.
I'm not insane; my mother had me tested.

Thanks Justin, but I have tried this and I am still getting the error? I copied the config file from my laptop onto my desktop, but still a no go. what can we do from here?

Are you copying the RSA key the same way as in the video Justin posted? I did this, but am still getting the error.

Okay thanks, that's good to know.

I was looking at tradingcharts.com, that's the site I use most for general monitoring of pairs (b/c it is light to load and uses little resources):

Their chart shows that price drop at that particular time, but I'm not sure about MB Trading's charts. I just assumed it would have been universal.

I copy the entire installation root folder and all......but just to be clear I first install mt4 on the machine then I use my backup to copy the entire installation over the folder of the new installation. After that is done all I need to do is put in my password when trying to connect the first time with the "new" installation.

Then in order to keep all my installations identical (templates, indicators and profiles) about one or 2 times a month I copy over my main computer's installation folder to my laptop and netbook either over my network or via SDcard
