Intention of thread is to now reach $100,000.00 within 3 months with a starting capital of $1,000.00.



I originally created this thread to keep track of my trades and set certain financial goals, due to my broker being unsupported in performance tracking websites like Myfxbook.com and fxstat.com.

However, I recently made a switch to Oanda.com, and have the pleasure of being able to have all my trades auto tracked via MyFxbook.

Initial deposit of $1,000 last week.

I'll link my performance to this thread with some casual updates along the future.

The original goal is probably too far fetched for my skill level, however I do think that something like that can still be unattainable, however not by me, at my current 4 month trading experience.

A few at ff have done extremely high profits when they performed short cycles -- one daytrader, daily; another shortterm trader, on an occasional week -- of trades and then withdrawal of earnings.
It's a pleasure to watch someone who can do so well.

Consistency for three months in a row of daytrading would be a feat.

This is great but how can we know that your trades are real? Even if you scalp why dont you put an mt4stats link or myfxbook link to this thread? Anyone can post an excell sheet... or do I miss something?

Unfortunately, I have an iMac and use Dealbook web via GFT. I would love to have auto or manual sync with one of those aforementioned pip bloggers. I'd love to keep track of my trades with such ease.

At the end of the week I'll just take a screenshot of my broker's account balance if you feel I need to prove something.

But again, just like any stat sheet or screenshot, it can easily be manipulated.
I'm in the same situtation I also work an a Mac Unfortunatly these stat sites support only the MT4 platform except Oanda which one works on myfxbook.com.

just install vmware and windows in it, and run your metatrader in unity works great here on my mac

The purpose of a Mac is so I don't have to install the poison known as Windows.

I follow your posts on the EUR/USD thread as well, wish you the best of luck.

Looks like your money management risk is quite high if you can lose 30% in a day, remember consistancy is the key, I found when i tried to swing for the fences is when i started losing money.

Even if you fall short of your goal, $800 to $100k is still pretty awesome in 3 months.

i play a 200 € account with maximum risk, 294 $ so far in 4 trades : p

what about lotsizes? i play 0.25 lots,

Intention was to post a synopsis of all week trades with the screenshots acquired over the week, after looking through all the screens it has become difficult to sort through the dozens of charts and imagine what my thought process was.

So from this point forward we'll just try to get a daily log up of what we are looking for in our trades.

As far as profit progress goes, 2 days fell and was unable to log equity.
Main mistakes were emotional distress, and inability to ignore what forum posters believed was going to occur.

Goal for this week is to try to stay away from inhaling what predictions are made on the forum, and just go with the price action seen on charts.

Primary forms of trading will be basic chart patterns, Pennants, Rectangles, Triangles, Wedges; with Fibonacci & Price action.

I have removed the Margin Gain & Loss column due to my relentless need to surpass the required equity for that day, therefore it has led to large losses.
Will attempt to just focus on consistent trading results vs profit margin.

If I fall too far behind on the 20 day mark, I will begin from scratch with a new profit goal relative to my account equity.
