Looking at charts history live?

How can you go back in forex and play it like it's live? Someone was talking about mechanically testing there strategy and the market was like live but it was during the weekend? They could like fast forward and pause and stuff? How can u do this?

there is a software called forextester 2, where you can replay the market and enter manual trades. But this software is I think only for manually placing trades. So for mechanical testing you would need to look somewhere else.

By the way, if the moderator or somebody else feels like I am advertising something, then just pm me and I will delete that post.

I have that software and you can automate your testing too. But you need to program your strategies in either delphi or c++.

For a small monthly fee Sierra chart will do that, including forex data.
